After being sickly with a mysterious illness for most of your life, you've gotten pretty used to the constant hospital stays at Dahlia Petal Hospital. The staff know you and you've even made some friends among them.
There are a couple you seem to see the most of. One doctor in particular named Dr. Nocktis loves to spend his lunch breaks with you. The other most frequent visitor is this weirdly fox-like and flirtatious nurse named Nurse Nakamura who always conveniently arrives when Dr. Nocktis is not there.
Your interesting pair of friends keep you company but you can't help but notice a few things off about them....

I’m going to try to push through it and work on the game since writing is pretty leisure but depending on how I feel and how it affects my ability to work, I may have to push the demo’s release back a little bit. 🥲
I've gotten a fuuuuuuuck ton more writing done this past week and so far, everything is coming along great! I'm super happy with how things are turning out already, yayyyy!
I also started messing around with the text box UI design for Niero and Fennec but they're not concrete yet so bear with me for a bit while I decide on if I want to make them simpler or not:
Finally, I started sketching Niero's sprites to get a general feel for them and where I want to put them in my writing. Here's a little sneak peek of angry Niero sprite:
I think my only complaint is that because his sprites are forward-facing, you're not really able to see his half-up, half-down hairstyle but oh well. </3
I'm hoping to finish the writing this week and officially fully continue working on sprites and UI! A few of my closest friends will be playtesting the game for me about a week to a week and a half before I release the demo for everyone so my goal before the play-testing begins is to have uncolored placeholder sprites and CGs implemented and work on rendering them while they playtest with the placeholders just to be more efficient with my timing. :'3
The demo will have 8-9 CGs, 10 Niero sprites & 5-6 Fennec sprites! This will probably disappoint some Fennec lovers but Fennec will not be as prevalent in Day 1/Demo because you will be meeting him for the first time in the demo! You'll just have to see how it goes to see what I mean. ^^
Saw this floating around & decided to make one for Niero and Fennec! For Niero, he actually LOVES seeing blood in more ways than one if you get what I mean. ;3
If Niero has a Jacob's Ladder, how does that translate to his incubus form? Do the piercings like... duplicate? (・・;)

They do duplicate, yes! Anything currently attached to him (clothes, piercings, shoes, etc) when he transforms will transform with him and will either adjust to his size, change shape and/or duplicate! ^^
since youre fixating on it right now, what are some palworld pals the boys would like? even if its just from watching mc play for a bit while theyre admitted

Thank you, Anon! I really appreciate it. I have a really weak immune system due to being chronically ill so I get sick fairly often and it oftentimes gets in the way of plans so I'm hoping it goes away soon. (╥‸╥)
As for their favorite pals:
Niero is a casual gamer so when he's not working or participating in some of his other "hobbies", he's playing some form of solo game and that would include Palworld! His favorite pals/pal team would be Astralym (it reminds him of Icarus), Bellanoir, shadowbeak, Incineram noct and Reindrix!
Fennec isn't as big of a gamer as Niero but he does go to the arcade sometimes as a hangout spot and will pick up a controller just to have something to do. If it comes to MC, however, he wouldn't think twice about getting a gaming setup just to play with them. His favorite pals/pal team would be Katress ignis, Dupin, Lapiron, Nyafia and Pupperai!
I know I am a day late again graaaahh! I started playing Palworld and I am helplessly addicted LMAOO but unfortunately, I started feeling sick last night so I went to bed kinda early (at least on my terms because I’m a night owl) hoping it would go away by morning and woke up super sick today.
HOWEVER, I did get a bunch more writing done and I am now roughly 1/2 of the way done with the writing!! ヾ(＾∀＾)ﾉ Yayyyy!
My goal is to finish writing completely, then work on sprites + CGs and when those are done, to completely customize the UI. I think my last step of the process before officially releasing the demo will be to finish working on the itch page so it’s at least better looking for new faces! First impressions always matter! ive been looking into scarification for a while now, and one i see often is handprints? and i think the idea of tracing out where niero's hands rest on MC's waist and having that be scarred on would be awesome
the only hiccup is that branding in particular can be tricky for uneven shapes like that.. packing would probably be more effective at preserving the shape but skinning would be more fun for bloodplay? decisions decisions

(˶>⩊<˶) I don't mind answering asks like this or other more extreme asks whatsoever, as long as they don't contain bodily excrements outside of blood, spit and cum or things involving minors/beastiality. ^^
Scarification is actually sick! I love that! And yes, it absolutely would be something he'd be into, as long as he is the one doing it and he does have a very steady hand due to what he does for both food and work. He wouldn't mind either way as long as there's blood and lots of it. He'd be more into the skinning part more due to the greater amount of blood vs the packing but he'd be good with the compromise, especially if it's what mc would prefer. He'd also prefer skinning/packing over general branding as he likes the blood and also because burn and freeze branding "tattoos" typically heal into unintelligible blobs lol.
