She leaned into the kiss, a frown flickering across her face as it ended too soon; always too soon with him. It wasn’t fair that Alex made her feel this way, and yet she couldn’t help but enjoy every second of this uncharacteristically sweet mood he was in. “Maybe….” She murmured, placing kisses along his jaw, pushing her luck as she answered, “Maybe someone DID upset me; what would you do if they did?”
He wasn’t sure how he should answer her question and knowing Val she would find too much meaning in between the lines. Still, Alex didn’t think he would be able to just sit and watch her act like this. He cared too much-- not that he’d ever tell her. “Just tell me who they are and I’ll take care of it.”
