miscellaneous refers to how i have always felt when it comes to gender stereotypes. i view them as boxes that i am not able to fall into. i wanted to document some struggles i faced as i grew into the person i am today, and writing this helped give me the confidence to embrace the parts of myself that i used to run from. embrace all the parts of yourself that makes you miscellaneous.

use this film as a reminder to take care of and acknowledge your mental health just as much as your physical health. tough times can be draining, so remember to check on yourself as well as the ones close to you!

ACHE is a self-reflection of how I have handled unexpected changes throughout my life. i became addicted to creating false realities rather than facing the truth. writing this made me realize how much i ignored my mental health and taught me to prioritize my own well being. i learned to value everything that remains, rather than everything i lost, and i hope that you can take the same message. never feel alone with anything that you go through and don’t hesitate to speak up when you need to. taking care of yourself is an extremely important factor in being a strong person.

During my recent trip to San Francisco, I visited the SFMOMA. I saw an exhibit entitled "We Are Here" by Suzanne Lacy. Although it was a beautiful exhibit, it made me feel sick to my stomach, only because of the reality behind it. That exhibit is what inspired this poem. It is brave people like Suzanne that shows the inequality in this world and brings things done in darkness to light. I am so fortunate to have been able to witness this extremely moving exhibit.

P. A. S. V. (paralysis, amusement, sabotage, vulnerability) is an acronym representing 4 struggles that came from a passive aggressive relationship, and a compilation of emotions i experienced while going through each one. writing this helped me cope when nothing seemed to make sense in my life and when i struggled to find my inner strength. i wanted an accurate representation, both visually and emotionally, of what i was feeling on this inside while maneuvering through this situation. this whole project was very difficult to both write and create because of how low i was when i was going through this. but i kept pushing to make this project to hopefully inspire people to keep pushing through the struggles you are going through.

with the tragedy of loss affecting my family, my friends, and myself in the past year, i wanted to write something for all of us. in the blink of an eye is dedicated to everyone who has experienced a loss in their lifetime and a reminder to treasure every moment you have with your loved ones. if you ever feel you’re struggling with something, never hesitate to reach out to someone you trust.

desire is an expression of infatuation, unrequited love, and what is to be taken from both. a personal documentation of growth from relying on others for fulfillment, to becoming a more independent person.

primary colors allude to the importance among us all. we can mix together and create secondary colors, or we can stay independent and flourish on our own. at the end of the day it is important to embrace our differences and love each other for them.

This film tells a story about manipulation and breaking free from shadows. There are a lot people I know that have been through forms of manipulation such as this. I wanted to express my support and understanding of these situations, because they are not something to be taken lightly. I would like for this piece to give out a feeling of hope for the future. Thank you all for the love on the album and I’m excited you get these songs come to life! ❤️
