tonight i am thinking about:

cc saying 'i believe the time has finally arrived for me to stop accumulating experiences and start living' when kallen asks her if she loves lelouch in 2x25

the first impression lelouch has of cc is her taking a bullet for him and screaming 'he mustn't die!'

the last interaction we see lelouch and cc have before he dies, he worries about her safety and she teases him for fretting even though she's immortal

the fact that they had basically the same interaction after their first kiss in the season one finale

lelouch hysterically asking cc if she wanted to die so much why she didn't force the code on him when she's about to let charles kill her... this being what prompts her to start crying... lelouch then begging her to at least die smiling, if she stays alive he promises he'll give her the smile she never had, and THAT being what makes her break with charles

the fact that what makes him fulfill his promise is not letting her sneak off when no one's looking because he's coming with her and he literally runs after her like a doofus. and the proposal where he wants to take her name so they can be together.

that cc went from wondering if lelouch hated her or blamed her for ruining his life right before he died to him emphatically telling her he wants to spend his life with her shortly after coming back. they have no gurantees about c's world now, but it doesn't matter if it's 10 days or 10,000 years he picks her.

the happy tears, lelouch's relief when cc smiles, and them holding hands as they walk through the crowd!!!
