All apps use GPS and Maps to find close restaurants near you! There are so many options, from lower prices - delivery! I LOVE 2017!
Airports are always fun...once you take off!! Heres some tips, tricks, and some super-secret-awesome-fun-time knowledge that’ll make your trip 10x better and make you look a bit cooler to other travelers!
Traffic, traffic, traffic, TRAFFIC, Traffic. & then Traffic.
Ok, I know everyone’s father says this! BUT, always make sure to get to the airport 6 days before your flight! (kidding) but depending on the flight, a good 3 hours never hurt anybody!
Make sure to know the local traffic patterns (rush hour? ghost land?)
Airports drop-off’s are always busy, so make sure to not get ran over by taxis, minivans, and also Paul Blart clones roaming the perimeters.
Self Check-in??? UH YA
Lines are stupid and so is checking in at the counter?? Being relaxed through the airport is good for the mind, the body, and the soul. Remember, you HAVE to options, so here are some tips to cut some time at the lines!!
#1 Use Self Checkin! 20 kiosks tend to get people going much quicker!
Fast, convenient, and does everything a human could do.. duh its 2017
Use a credit card to identify yourself and your itinerary.
Print boarding pass, and head off through security.......oh boy, security..
**PRO TIP Y’ALL: You can check in bags from self check-in.. boom, mind blown! But its true! The kiosk will print off the tag for you, and you drop it off at security. That 30 person long line??? Hashtag SKIPPED! **
There are SO many ways to get you 30,000 miles above the ground and thousands of miles away from home!
Skymiles? Skymiles.
There are many free frequent flyer programs that give you points that you can use on flights, vacation deals, and hotels!
Delta Skymiles
JetBlue TruBlue
American Airlines AAdvantage
How’s your credit?
Many credit card companies (banks & credit unions also, you just gotta ask!) give discounts and credits towards hotels, rent-a-cars, and actives such as DisneyLand!
You're spending the cash-mula anyways, you might as well get some rewards out of it!!
Here are a few benefits for the savvy cardholders:
Get one mile per dollar spent during the month.
Receive discounts and cashback!
Free checked bags! ($50 value).
**PRO TIP: Also remember that most companies require you to “activate” the benefits, they aren't always automatically given! :) **
