“I don’t mind the lame ones, I don’t have to worry about anxiety attacks,” she teased. “It’s really just to make things a bit more homey plus we can have some more fun at Ikea.” She grinned, “Plus their food court is so yummy.” She beamed up at him, holding his hand as they walked around the store.
“Hide and seek in Ikea. I don’t think the workers would enjoy it, but I think it would be fun” He laughed. “So, what are you looking for exactly?” He asked.

She smiled at him, “I will always listen to your ideas,” she nodded then smiled, “Okay babe, so Home goods first then Ikea.” She grinned at him then got out of truck once he parked in the lot of Home goods. She held his hand as they walked inside.
“I know some are lame, but some are pretty weird.” He laughed. “I feel like Home Goods isn’t as good as Ikea, it’s for like tiny things.” Alex stated. They walked inside and he started to look around the store with her.

“Definitely not now, I’m like a pro.” She teased, sticking her tongue out at him. “Look at you producing ideas,” she grinned then laughed, “Maybe not hours, but at least an hour, hopefully less than that, I just need a desk to transform into a vanity. Could go to target, would be easier..” She stated then kissed his cheek.
“I mean, I just watch you do the filming and stuff, i can have an idea or two,” He nodded. “I mean, wherever you wanna go baby, it’s all up to you, I’m just here for the wandering around stores.” He confessed.

“They’d probably think that I’m strange,” she giggled then nodded, “That would be funny,” she smiled at his suggestion. Avryn looked over at him, “Home goods, I know we’re going to spend hours in Ikea and I’m going to need food before that.” She stated then hummed to the music that played through the speakers. She lifted their hands and pressed a kiss onto the back of Alex’s hand. “Thank you for coming with me.”
“Maybe not now.” He winked and laughed. “I think so, you can give them a laugh, and then the international fans would think you’re cute trying to speak like them.” “Hours?” His eyes grew. “I might go take a nap if you wanna be that long.” He laughed slightly. “Of course babe.” He nodded as he kept his eyes on the road

“I didn’t! So I honestly didn’t know what to expect.” She confessed then gasped, “Seriously?! Way to keep things authentic.” She laughed then continued her vlogging. Avryn liked how he was rarely in her videos it helped keep their relationship known but also private. She showed off her outfit in the mirror before they walked to the truck. She ended the video once they got into their seats. The blonde held her boyfriend’s free hand.
“At home if you didn’t like hockey, people thought you were strange.” He said. “You should try and read one while you’re filming, I bet that would make them laugh.” He suggested. Once he started the truck, she ended the video and he made his way out of the driveway. “Home goods or Ikea, which one first?” He asked as he gripped her hand a little tighter.

“It’s not my fault that I got to see those two fights, it was terrifying at first but then it got hot so you can’t blame me,” she stated, sticking out her tongue playfully at him. She laughed, “Oh my God,” she snorted at his story. “That is traumatizing.” She giggled then grabbed her purse and vlog camera. Avryn turned on the camera and smiled, “Hey guys, happy day! We had a late start today but we’re ready to take on the day. I have to go to Home Goods and Ikea so let’s go.” She grinned then looked over at her boyfriend, “Do you want to say hi to the peeps?” she asked as they walked out.
“I could tell you didn’t grow up watching hockey, you looked like you were afraid for both of our lives.” He nodded. “I told you! And all the random books they have with the room sets are in Swedish.” Alex said. He watched as Avryn grabbed her camera and started to do her welcoming. He waved shyly, as he still wasn’t too big on being in her videos, not wanting him to be the reason she gets views.

Avryn beamed up at him, “Just don’t get too bloody but have as many fights you want,” she giggled then got off the counter, walking to the bedroom to put on the appropriate clothes for the weather. “How do you get lost in Ikea?” she asked with a laugh as she walked out putting on her outer coat.
“I mean, being bloody is just something that happens, and I’ve only been in like 2 fights my whole career, you just wanna see me hurt a guy.” He laughed as he grabbed the sweatshirt by the couch he had on earlier. “When the Ikea opened a few hours from me when I was a kid, we went to see what is was about and me and my sister got lost. It’s possible.”

“Oh, that’s not such a long flight.” She stated then grinned, “I’m so excited for these home games.” She kept her eyes on him along with the grin across her lips. “Really?!” She beamed then returned the soft kiss, “I want to decorate our home more, also might have to go to Ikea..” she stated with a grin as she subtly slid that in.
“You better be, and they’re gonna be more exciting if we make the playoffs.” Alex said, trying not to jinx them in any way, even though he knew if they started today, they would be in it. “Yeah why not, practice is done, and it beats sitting inside.” He nodded. “Ikea? Do you wanna get lost in there? I’ve done that.” He laughed.

“You got back so late last night I didn’t get to ask how the flight was,” she stated then kissed his cheek. “I’m sad I didn’t get to see you play in person.” She confessed then released her grip from around his waist. She hoisted herself up onto the kitchen counter beside her, “I have to go to Home goods, do you want to come with me?” she asked, grinning at him.
“It wasn’t bad, only an hour and a half so not long at all.” He said before she kissed his cheek. “We’re home the next couple of games baby, you can be there cheering me on.” He winked as she hopped up on the counter. “Yeah I can go with you, easy to get lost in there.” He laughed before placing a soft kiss on her lips.
Avryn was sitting out on the backyard drinking hot chocolate as she was editing her latest videos to be ready for their scheduled upload tomorrow. She had her headphones on as she was working. Listening to her soothing playlist as she edited. Once she was satisfied with the end products, she saved them then turned off her laptop, getting up and walking inside. Resting her headphones around her neck. She walked into the kitchen after putting her laptop down. She wrapped her arms around Alex’s waist from behind and kissed his back. “You played amazing yesterday,”

After winning against the Blues and having a practice day, Alex sat on the couch, watching ESPN and catching up on the other sports. He was starting to fall asleep as they had come back from St Louis late last night, but he wasn’t able to fall asleep. He got off of the couch and went into the kitchen looking for a snack, as he felt a paid of arms wrap around him and a kiss on his back. Thank you baby, felt good.” He smiled.
