5 Reasons Why You Should Start Blogging RIGHT NOW
So you want to be a blogger, eh? I think you should be! Know a little about everything? Know a lot about something? Either way, you could have a very successful, profitable blog. Why not? It is a really fun job. However, it takes a lot of work and determination. If you need some more enticing, read my list of reasons why!
1. All Hail THE SIDE GIG.
It is a great way to make extra money. You can do it on your own time, and be your own boss. It is hard to turn down something like that! If you want to make it your full time career- go for it! If you want to do it for 5 hours a week on Sunday nights while watching Netflix in your footie pajamas- do it!
2. Be passionate!
So many people complain about going to work from 9-5. Well guess what? I never complain about having to blog. I care about what I am writing A LOT. It isn't boring, and I'm not forcing. I genuinely love doing it, and am completely engaged. Imagine a career like that! Pretty awesome right?
3. Meet some kick ass people.
If you are serious about your blog, you will probably get to network with other bloggers. You are going to meet some really cool people, and make some great friends! It has been a great experience for me, because I have been able to meet other business minded people whose brains think the same way mine does.
4. Financial Security
Part of your income doesn't depend on your circumstances you can't control at your company. It depends on you! That kind of security is an amazing feeling.
5. Experience
My experience blogging has gotten me in the door at two different internships with huge companies. Understanding how to market, web develop, and network with tons of different people is so important. Companies see your skills as valuable and are willing to go the extra mile to have you as an employee! $$$

How To Pay For College, While In College
Learn from my mistakes. Taking out thousands of dollars in student loans and then working a 10 hour, minimum wage job is not going to help you when it comes to paying off your student loans! This was me my first two years of school. But then I learned about business, and started experimenting. Here are some ways to actually make dat dough! (hahahahha) Okay just some ways to make an actual income while still going to school.
1) Blog!
Blogging is awesome. You can set your own hours, and your own intensity. Want it to be your full time career? Cool! Want to do it 5 hours a week? Still cool! If you have a huge bill you're worried about, work extra hard on your blog for two weeks and make a lot of extra cash. Want to go on vacation? Work all weekend on your blog! Easy Peasy. I got into this, learned the ropes, and the graduated into buying and flipping websites for profit. Easy way to become more financially secure!
2) Sell things on eBay, Vinted, and Etsy.
eBay and Vinted are perfect for selling items that you no longer want for cash. If you are really serious about it, you can look into buying pallets of liquidated items, or scope out goodwill stores for luxury items. Serious cash can be made this way! Also if you are crafty at all, you can sell your projects on Etsy for cash.
3) Social Media Management
Huge companies are looking for outsourced people to manager their social media accounts. It is cheaper for the company, and presents a great opportunity for you! You can make $500 a month doing this- just from one company.
4) Internships
I have had three internships. I am a huge recruiting and talent acquisition nerd- what what Human Resources! A lot of recruiting internships are commissioned based, so that if you are great at headhunting you can make a lot of commission. Also, stake out big companies that you are interested in and stalk their careers page. That is how I got into interning for eBay- one of the highest paying intern programs in the world!
