I’m glad I’m not the only one!!!! On one hand, there’s something strangely beautiful about it, Sheldon’s thought processes and why he reacted the way that he did after the kiss. He loves her, he loves her so much that another person kissing him was the final nail in the metaphorical coffin for him to propose… BUT… we have seen this couple, we have watched and supported this coupld for SEVEN YEARS. Literally. 7. Fucking. Years. That’s almost as long as it takes someone to get a Doctorate degree and yet… they give us this? A proposal with no real thought? A proposal, that should have been written, and planned for, and thought out by the writers considering Shamy is there #1 selling point for many fans. They put so much thought into Sheldon and Amy’s other steps forward. The coitus, the moving together, the kissing and yet… The proposal? A plot that honestly doesn’t fit Sheldon in the least and should have been better suited for Leonard. (can you tell I’m bitter? LOL)
