So about that last episode...

theories aside, the reveal of what elias was seeing was so so so good. the blackout of the dome and then the black and white noir-style animation of his pov was such a phenomenally fun and immersive and inventive way to give that information. i actually gasped. this season has been so fantastically playful with how it utilizes and incorporates the dome and the table into the actual play.

the lighting? incredible. and then the art taking over the whole screen… and THEN i realized it was being projected on the dome as well?? holy shit??? d20 art team i fucking LOVE you.

this isn’t even including the actual like. defenestration which… i don’t even have words. not at all where i thought this campaign was going but i’m so excited to see how we got here and where we’re going.

There's just something so devastating about Conrad being a kid, never growing up even though he should have because Elias was so wounded by getting hurt for standing up for his sister. About Conrad genuinely believing that he should never be listened to. And the praise guy from the optic nerve when hunch told him no one loved him, how he said 'I'm a good boy I'm good at science' just feels like someone who is so lost and trying to impress other people to be loved and!!! We might never talk to Elias or see him directly but I love this poor sad man who just wants love
