Debra's not entirely sure how to approach this, but Alice is the first friendly face she's seen all day and it's been a terrible day at that, so she just flings her arms around her mother in law and hugs her tightly.

Alice is surprised, but there’s no complaints coming from her. Like every other Fraiser, she likes her hugs.
