Back in Black || Alice & Dean
Dean’s eyebrows pulled together are her questioning. “Nobody hired me. I don’t work for anyone,” he replied, a little smug. This was just not his case. It was easy enough to track her down, but he still had little to no idea of what she was. Either way, he had the gun in his hand, which meant he held the power. “I’m gonna need you to put that down,” he demanded, gesturing towards her sword.
Alice felt the trickle of confusion that had been pooling in the back of her mind swelling into a river as the man denied working for someone else. Who the hell is this guy? He couldn't be government. He clearly doesn't work for Red. Regardless, Alice was getting tired of his stalling and knew that if he was truly by himself that somebody else was surly on their way here now.
She felt a like laughing as the man asked her to put down her weapon, but instead she allowed a sour smile to grace her cracking lips. "So you can shoot me? Don't think so."
Without warning her left hand snapped out, tugging the corner of the large map between them, ripping the corners and loosening the pins. In a blur red lines and crumpling white, the map blocked their views for a single moment, and Alice took the opportunity. Ducking back and barrel rolling towards the nearest door, the room explodes with sound.
