Aoi's message no. 2 (10.03.26)

Because I ended up having to communicate this in this way, it has become difficult for me to rewrite the words I originally wanted to share with you all. This is the text I had prepared to share with you all by September of last year. I will leave it here in its original form.

The 23 years that the five of us, who met while pursuing our dreams, spent together with the same aspirations in our hearts, are irreplaceable times for me, and memories that will never fade.

I'd like to express my sincere gratitude to Ruki, Uruha, and Reita for inviting me to join The Gazette at the end of 2001, and to Kai for joining us.

We began our activities in 2002, and we believe that what has happened over the past 23 years has only been possible because of the five of us.

It was because I met these friends that I was able to overcome, share, and transform joy, difficulty, sadness, and emotion into many times more beautiful moments.

I cherish all the experiences we have had so far as the time we have spent together.

Thank you for walking this path with me.

I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to all the people involved who have supported me, the agency who have nurtured me, and the staff who have shared the good times and the bad.

And to all the fans.

Because of you all, I was able to continue seeing this view.

Thank you for a truly beautiful and dreamlike time.

Aoi's message (10.03.26)

To all fans and related parties...

Today, the GazettE website and Shukan Josei published releases and articles about me (Aoi), but these contain a large amount of information that is not true. I sincerely apologize for causing concern to all of my supporters, and I would like to take this opportunity to state the correct facts.

In April of last year, I informed the other members of the GazettE of my intention to leave the band at the end of September of that year, and I had already left the GazettE on the same day. Therefore, I did not leave as a result of being expelled.

I felt that I had a responsibility to properly explain the facts of my departure to the fans and related parties who have supported me up until now, and so I refrained from making an announcement myself, in order to make an official announcement based on the details agreed upon with the other members. However, I am extremely disappointed that a unilateral release has now been made on the GazettE website that contains details that are significantly different from my understanding.

I had been working sincerely on my activities with the GazettE up until the day I left, and have never engaged in any inappropriate acts that could be considered abandoning or interfering with the band's activities or betraying my trust. Furthermore, I have never clung to the representation rights of my agency. The "demands for money" pointed out in the GazettE's release and in the weekly magazine article were merely requests for payment of unpaid guarantees and payments that had already been agreed upon with my agency, and are in no way unreasonable.

First of all, in this confusing situation, we need to convey the facts to everyone who supports us.

I thought there was a reason for this, so I decided to explain it in this way. I would like to sincerely apologize to all the fans who have supported me up until now and to all those involved for causing concern.
