Going back to my roots as an undeadp... I think kaoru turned out gorgeous but surprisingly being primarily a ritsu artist hasn't made me any better at drawing his brother </3

the contrast in reactions between lara and lisa to their own mortality is so . So deeply fascinating to me. Somehow the longer lisa has been alive the more scared of death she became. She's genuinely horrified to see this process come to pass while lara reacts to it with a sort of devastating resignation. I think their difference in personal experience and worldview very much shines here. Lisa has only experienced the human world through hostile lens so she has no sense of fulfilment whatsoever. She has lived for centuries and had the company of kota but she's terrified and riddled with anxiety and has no sense of community. She's isolated, which is why she cannot understand or cling to the companionship Lara has established with the human world twice over now. Lara, even in her temporary reverie with the prince, lived such a short while but experienced and broadened her worldview so much in that short time frame that her final reaction is resigned, accepting her fate as she's riddled with guilt over her own dishonesty. Lara had a second chance that lisa obviously won't gain. I just find the way mortality is represented fascinating.
