reasons to watch the tangled tv show:
absolutely gorgeous animation, with season two and three having some of disney’s greatest visuals
healthy main relationship built on trust and communication
each season has a strict formula; the first half is very chill, very happy. and then at the mid-season they take a comPLETE HARD TURN INTO CRAZY ANGST TOWN AND DON’T COME BACK
music? gorgeous. i know y’all have seen those “ready as i’ll ever be” warrior cats amvs. that’s this show
legitimately. "nothing left to lose" is the greatest song sequence ever created disney will never top it
cassandra is definitely a sword lesbian
there’s an episode where pascal hatches a baby dragon and then it’s never mentioned again
there’s one sequence where eugene and his best friend trip out and sing while hallucinating
rapunzel gets possessed at least twice
varian: i went through an entire character arc inbetween episodes. i became more evil if you’re curious
an entire episode is dedicated to one of the pub thugs romancing a mermaid fugitive
pascal becomes the god of an island of plant people
we have more magic incantations but they only sing one (1) cause it costs more to have mandy moore sing ig and i want more people to make fancovers of these
in one ep they’re in a spire full of ancient artifacts and there are about ten million hidden disney easter eggs but the one that stands out to be most is the fucking black cauldron
halfway into season three, one of the adorable little girl side-characters becomes a werewolf. this is never "solved,” she’s just allowed to go feral whenever she wants now
rapunzel now canonically has a body count. true that body count is mainly demons. but it’s a body count nonetheless
