Life as Margaret Dygas has experienced it has had more than itās fair share of unusual twists and turns. With a sound born in New York, ripened in London and refined in Berlin, Margaret Dygas is an artist whose sound possesses a true international resonance. Born and raised in Poland, at age 11 Margaret and her family moved to Germany, before finally relocating to San Jose, California. Surrounded by old school hip-hop as a teenager, her discovery of house music came in the early nineties following a move to New York. Before long, friends introduced her to the underground club scene with its dressed-up club kids, intimate basement techno nights, jungle gatherings and scores of insane house parties.
Captivated by the British dance scene, Margaret moved to London in the summer of 1999. Make up artist by day, door girl by night, she began Djing at parties in the city and eventually moved on to play warm up sets in clubs, soon becoming a regular fixture on Londons electronic music scene.
Making the move to Berlin in 2007, her early sets at Panorama Bar (where she currently holds a bi-monthly residency), Watergate, and Club Der Visioneare were exceptionally well received, with Club Der Visionaere developing into a venue where she became famed for her ability to test her own (and the audiences!) limits with 20-hour sets and sleepless nights full of musical inspiration.
It was following her move to Berlin that Margaret started producing and writing her own music, with her debut release being āDay Afterā (for Jay Hazes label Contexterrior), demonstrating the influence Berlin had played on her musical creativity. Margaret followed her debut release with āSee You Around EPā for Tobias. Non Standard Productionsā imprint in 2008 and āInvisible Circles EPā on Perlon in 2009 and subsequent contributions on Ostgut Ton and Perlon compilations.
Margarets first full-length album āHow Do You Doā came out in 2010. Released on Japans PowerShovelAudio, the album is inspired by the book Peoplewatching, a guide to body language by British zoologist Desmond Morris. With each track based on a different emotion (each one relating to a chapter or idea from the book), the subject matter of the musical landscapes eventually come together to form one complete story. With each track also accompanied by a quote that illuminates the relationship between the music and the book, the CD features a 36 page booklet of Margarets own photographs, taken over the same period as the composition of the album, capturing her own personal moments and memories. Margaret followed up her first full-length with the self-titled and more dance oriented album Margaret Dygas on Perlon in 2011, and she most recently teamed up with old friend Tobias., for āTest The West EPā on Non Standard Productions.
With her broad musical background fuelling her desire for electronic experimentation within her music, her productions and dj-sets incorporate the deep and dub-influenced sound she loves, whilst retaining the driving funk of her musical past.
Reverbs sounds really good here
Argentinian born Federico Molinari has early roots in music. Originally trained as a bass guitarist, he has been into Jazz and other musical directions long before he started to experiment with electronic music. In the early noughties Federico moved to Germany, where he met Nekes, Ray Okpara and Johnny D. The guys then spent several years together in Mannheim, while they were managing the Zoo Club and playing all around the Frankfurt/Main area.Ā
Later Federico found himself at Freebase Records, where he was dealing with fine tunes for a couple of years. During this time, he and Nekes decided to foundĀ OSLO Records, to find a way to express their own idea of electronic music, as well as to have a homebase for own productions and those of friends. Quickly OSLO became one of the hottest underground imprints and gained attention not only in Europe, but all over the world for its superb and original releases.
For several years now, Federico Molinari is travelling all around the globe. He became a respected and frequently booked artist and is a well known character in the scene. He has released several EPs on labels as Raum...Musik, Tsuba and others in recent years. In 2013 he moved to Berlin. Federico is also involved in several art projects with international multimedia artists.

- Darling, tell me these six words! - Romanian techno producer, based in Berlin
Romanian Inner started out in music from a different side than most: he was, with friends, a promoter, putting on parties and predicting trends ahead of time. Curating events both big and small, in by around 2007 he grew interested and inquisitive about what happens in the booth and played his first proper party. āAt first it was just the pleasure of listening,ā he says of his reasoning. āThen the curiosity of finding new music and the pleasure of sharing with friends took over. At that time we had a small but really tight community off and online.ā Since then Inner has gone on to establish himself, soon becoming good friends with local techno DJ Sebo before then breaking out of the local scene and playing places like Katerholzig in Berlin, with a trip to Sunwaves Festival on the cards for 2014. A talented spinner when in the booth, Innerās style is organic, even if itās dark, cold and gloomy. Always a little bit hypnotic, you can tell that he favours the emotional side of 4/4, weaving together ambient moods and warm, inviting house with plenty of style. āMy style of DJing is very much influenced by the environment, but my aim is to make people dance,ā says the man himself as a matter of fact. Of course, with such a good understanding of dancefloor dynamics itās no wonder Inner is also a fine studio craftsmen. His first EP came back in 2009 on the Romanian net label Derivat, whilst a debut vinyl release came on Strictly Chosen in 2012. Both release showcased Innerās subtle and organic style and lead to him starting up his own label, Polen, back in 2013. Launched with a debut EP by Inner himself, the label is already well respected for its quality output and Innerās great ear for new music. With new EPs in the works, a special new live show also being put together and lots more A&R for his own label, it seems Inner is only just getting started. http://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/inner/biography

Where is the rest of the information about this DJ?
He's an artist who needs little introduction or credits after his name, Rhadoo is one of the most familiar names of the Romanian clubbing scene. Hard to enframe as a style, DJ, producer and remixer, Rhadoo simultaneously developed next to the local electronic movement, bearing on it and being its fundamental rammer.
Rhadoo (Radu Cilinca) made his debut as a DJ in 1995. His first gigs consisted of nights at Club A and Studio Martin, Bucharest, Romania. His eccentric style and personality has helped him earn a reputation as a top-class DJ in his native country of Romania. Rhadooās dedication and talent earned him the best Romanian DJ Award in 2003, 2004 and 2005 at the annual Nights.ro Awards.
In 2003, MTV Romania Music Awards acknowledged him as their top pick in the DJ category. His skill and hard work resulted in residencies at clubs like Club A, The Office, Karma, Zerrilos, DC10 (Ibiza),The Mission.
His increasing reputation has landed him gigs at the Love Parade, Berlin (Germany) in 1999 and 2003, East Power - Sankt Petersburg (Russia), and finally leads to a residency at DC10 in Ibiza; not to mention his constant touring in Europe and in his country Romania. His sound goes deep and powerfull, with strong basslines.
Rhadoo has also proved his production skills, with releases on his own label , that he is running with his mates Raresh and Pedro aka Petre Inspirescu and also on Cadenza Records. Rhadoo is not only known as one of the most promising DJs in electronic club music, but he also proved his astonishing production talents ranging from deep, dubby house to uplifting and seductive techno.

Radu is playing in Kiev this weekend and itās gonna be his fourth DJ set at Closer Club.Ā
Playing on Korgās Volca-Sample without any keyboard got me used to these sounds, typical to minimal techno. Now I definitely want to play something like this.Ā
I was lucky to talk to Yotam Avni in Tel-Aviv, we met at the Avadonās event at The Breakfast club where Etapp Kyle was playing. Next day I had one relaxing super interesting after-party conversation with Yotam, and of course we could not talk about anything else but music and club culture in our countries and in general.Ā
Who is Yotam, who makes remixes on his tracks, what is Avadon, which huge DJs heās bringing to TLV, and in which worldās most famous club he will play - all this you can find in well-known online platforms, donāt be lazy.Ā
Few facts: Since he was twelve he became a huge fan of electronic music, trying to get knowledge and information about DJs and labels from everywhere he could. Later Yotam became a journalist and what is not surprising was writing mostly about electronic music. Ultimately this techno passion has revived in Yotam the producer and DJ.Ā
And he is quarter Ukrainian :)Ā
I do love his last tracks from This Is How EP at Philaās Ovum Recording. It was funny, as soon as I met Yotam I put him my friendās mixĀ and after that Yotam introduced me his tracks, itās like we wereĀ boasted to each other :).Ā
I am not romantically subjective on this point, thereās no DJ whose 100% of works I adore, itās even harder for me to love each mix of one DJ cos they usually make mixes for different labels with different types of electronic music, I just canāt love everything, no time for this :) But Yotamās singles is what iām into right now at this moment of my life, and since I started to dig deeply into the techno scene I suddenly stopped being interested in whatās going on in the rest of the world. āI am so into this, itās been my work and hobby since I was a kid, ask me who is in the government nowā¦Iām not sureā Ā© Yotam Avni.Ā
We touched many interesting topics about DJās work and lifestyle, worldwide, TLV and Ukrainianās underground culture, I was mostly telling him about Closer Club in Kiev, our local parties, festivals and DJās. Was glad to see his surprised face - thereās a fast growing up underground culture somewhere in the Eastern Europe that wants to follow the worldās best examples and same time has itās unique style. Ok this is topic for the separate post.Ā
As it wasnāt an interview I wonāt write any other details of our conversation, I had much fun and got inspiration so I will just leave this all in memory and hope to see him soon again in TLV, Berlin and even more - in Kiev.
I was also introduced to Daniel Frenkel, one of the organizer of the Avadonās events, he was cute and tired after the last night.Ā

I <3 TLV.

Yesterday I had a short talk with Bella Sarris, young DJ from Germany. My friends are impressed by her style and beauty. Hope to see her in Closer club really soon.Ā
Jus Ed. Nice track!
