I work with a lesbian senior citizen who just found out that her social security payments don't start until a month later than she had thought that they would (they start mid June). Our hours have been cut at work, and I'm thankful enough to be in a position of living with family, but Sue is on her own and struggling with rent and bills on top of trying to get groceries and take care of her cat that she's had for many years.

She's shared her gofundme on her facebook page with a few friends, family members, and coworkers but not many people have access to a more public platform like this. So I'm sharing her page on my blog in the hopes that it will reach more people.

She's truly a wonderful and kind woman and I know she would give up the clothes on her back to help someone else who was struggling, and if anyone can help her out I can't imagine how much she would appreciate it.
