I think for me what’s making the writing around armand feel so..uncomfortable is that yes armand has done a lot of horrible things but almost none of what he’s getting this season feel related to that. it’s all armand is undesirable and pathetic and desperate no one wants him, armand is promiscuous, armand suffered horrible sexual abuse and trafficking and gets publicly humiliated for it, armand is a bottom, etc etc. combined with comments about his appearance and attractiveness. Like EVERYONE has a legitimate reason to hate him lol if the insults he’s getting felt like consequences for his lying or his role in the trial I would get that, but most of it is just degrading him for his sexuality or trauma
