I miss holding physical books in my hands! • I usually don't buy much books or lets say the majority of my readings comes from librairies as a (newly former) librarian that's how I used to supply myself. These past three months, I must have spent more than a couple of hundreds of € on ebooks, and I am not proud about that... • • It's been years since I wanted to read Yasutaka Tsutsui's Paprika, but unfortunately the novel have not been translated in french my first language. I have first heard about the Japanese author through two of my most appreciated animés : Mamoru Hosoda's The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (Toki wo kakeru shôjo) and Paprika by Satoshi Kon which were both based on Yasutaka Tsutsui's work. Before that, I didn't realised how many of my favourite animés were based on litterature, but that movies in general also take inspiration on Japanese litterature like for exemple Christopher Nolan's Inception with Paprika. • Yasutaka Tsutsui is a Japanese science-fiction author, recepient of the Kawabata prize, Tanizaki prize and decorated as a Chevalier des arts et des lettres https://www.instagram.com/p/CAn5tGKHKFM/?igshid=1ewvb6giyha0k
