The Oddball road

It was a dark stormy winter night the shiny white snow was fiercely coming down onto the already snow stacked ground. A sign there won't be school tomorrow for the energetic kids who will be making multiple imprints into the glamorous white snow. It was such a beautiful site but not for those who had to drive on the deadly icy streets to get from one place to another. It is a difficult task for John White had to know how to deal with the frustrating turns and unruly customers he drove in his Taxi, but one night he will have the most unforgettable experience in his whole usually boring career driving on one of the most deadly icy roads.

"Ma'am! Hey ma'am! Do you need a Taxi?" John white loudly, to a woman who was standing across the street. Her head was down but she walked on over to the Taxi "It seems rather cold for you to be standing out there like that" John said to the woman who just got in. She never said a word back, which was extremely rude to John. After John started to drive he got an ominous feeling something wasn't there before and he drove a costumer just 15 minuets ago. But there was a old wicked tale that is spread through east London, there is a tale that a very old woman was falsely accused of being a witch and she was burned in front of everyone including her very own family who cried and yelled vigorously before she died she cursed everyone who accused her of being a witch "Et qui calumniantur filii, quia ego ad te veniam, falso et mori, quod quotannis certam diem mortis meae" which was Latin for "For I am falsely accused you're children and whoever after will falsely die and I will come back every year to make sure of that on my death day" she burned for a just three hours her appalling screams could be heard from miles away. Ever since after that day each year on March 21 a person dies and not just any person a person of the accuser's family.

John White was a member of the family that accused that woman but he was only let in through marriage. But why the vengeful spirit came to his Taxi is rather confusing "Where are we going ma'am?" John asked the Mysterious woman. "Ad infernum" the woman said but John studied Latin in his private catholic school that he attended and Ad Infernum was Latin for To Hell "Lady I don't have time for jokes okay? There is no destination that you are saying to go to," John scolded he was getting agitated at he woman because she had yet to give a location. John kept driving and soon they were on a Icy road that he had never seen before, he was just in the city not eve a minuet ago john then got a strange feeling as if he knew that this was not of the real world "WHERE ARE WE?" the woman piercingly screamed in the back seat "I don't know! Calm down ma'am!" John was trying to calm down the woman only did he not know other drivers tried doing the same "I WILL TAKE YOU TO HELL JUST LIKE THE OTHERS!" the car swerved off the road and John never did make it to see his 46th birthday nor did he ever got to live to tell the story of the Oddball Witch who had seen his last breath

"But why did she go after him? He wasn't even blood he just married someone who was blood" Susan asked "Who knows that whole family is part of the occult so I think she just happen to think he was one of them" I said "But El you are part of the White family, wasn't that you're dad who died?" Lee asked me "Yeah, it was" I said looking up at the stars "but how do you know this outlandish tale?" Susan asked me "It came to me in a dream almost as if the woman was saying my horrific death is coming soon also" I said still looking at the sky. "But it won't happen right? You moved from Gillingham, London?" Lee asked "Yeah, but I don't think that will ever stop the curse from following me to my family" I said "but I do know one thing I will try and stop this curse in the future when I have my kids because I can't have them going through the same twisted fate" I finished and they all nodded, we decided it was time to leave and we left I was the last to leave the clear opening, I stood there for a while until I felt a chill. It felt almost as a push and I whispered "I miss you too dad" I said and I felt a tear come down my face as I continued to walk home on a deserted snowy road.
