I normally don't care about mischaracterization and find it to be the biggest non issue in the world. However we need to break down this strangely widely believed misconceptions about some ranfren characters.

Take for example "Nyen is misogynistic" and "Randal is a pervert/predator"

I think many people are mistaken to think that these charcaters are "purely evil" and that's IT, it's a very narrow take, so narrow it has been proven wrong in the comic but still engraved in your minds. When they actually have motives behind them, Randal's nature as a cryptic, Nyen being spiteful and apathetic, but they still make conscious choices on how they behave. Making them an all out evil villan horrible person is actually very boring and not as quirky as you think it is.

You guys take the keyword evil and make connections based on your experience and the community around you (misogyny, sexual harassment, racism etc..) and project it on the charcaters when it has NEVER happened. It's so strange and uncomfortable watching you so hyped about making Nyen a woman beater, you guys disturb me. Randal has never sexually abused anyone and neither did Nyen mistreat a woman, need you to sit down and think why your brain went there.

He certainly abuses him in ways, that's the whole premise of Sebastian's role, he's a victim but he's not THAT kind of a victim that people paint him to be and Randal is not what he's painted to be in those strange takes either.

I can think of a million motives on why Randal is constantly causing physical and phycological damage to Sebastian and I can very confidently say being into it is NOT one of them, yikes.
