Gonna be writing a little bit about Letho because I realise that you can't tell much about him just from a few sketches, and only a few from here read my fic, and I would like you guys to know about him (because I love him to bits).
So, Letho is a Bhaalspawn, but a reluctant one. Ever since the Urges reared their ugly heads when he was young, he's tried to resist them. He does not enjoy being controlled by the wanton slaughter like his 'family' does. If there is death to be delivered then Letho choses to do it quickly and methodically. But during his Cult of Bhaal reign, he was a different creature (will talk later about that).
In terms of personality, I made Letho as a mix between Kratos(GoW 2018) and Geralt. The stoic, reserved, brutal and stern side of Kratos with Geralt's dark humor (which doesn't happen often) and cynicism. He is, as Astarion likes to call him, a gargoyle--scary and statuesq, but a faithful rock in the storm. He is somebody that will get the job done, a shark on the scent of blood. Nothing can deter him once he puts his mind to it. Or his word. Letho is big on his word. Once given, he'll stick to it. Because of this rigidity, he is very stubborn and set in his ways. Controlling to a degree as he prefers to lead and others to follow. This will cause friction between himself and the others, and Astarion.
He is a Lawful Neutral. Honest, honorable (in his own way), true to his word, doesn't go out of his way to help or hurt others, unless given reason to. He has his own personal vision of order and code he lives by that has nothing to do with outside laws or societal structures(he does not give a fuck about them). In his eyes, there must always be a balance--as much darkness as there is light. Disruptions of that order make him irritated.
Speaking of things that makes him irritated…He has a disregard concerning luxury and wealth. Sees no point to it (a contrast between him and Astarion). Shoes are a travesty to him and so are crowded cities. Absolutely despises authority/control over him. Reason why he hates the urges and is a resist Durge. He will not be a pawn to anyone, not even to his own father.
Now onto likes--Letho loves to take advantage of his senses: smell, taste and touch. They are important to him and as a way of expressing affection since words do not come lightly to him. Action and not words. He is a curious creature, willing to follow into deep caverns or strange places to satisfy whatever curiosity. As expected, Letho finds solace in solitude. The quiet is his most faithful companion…but he does learn to share that space with a certain eccentric spawn, the sound of his voice alone offering the same sort of peace.
For now I'll write only this. Later, I'll get into others parts of Letho and his persona.
