From working on the ship so much, Marith is usually at least a little disheveled looking. A smudge of oil here, a dust of dirt there, she is almost never proper in her appearance. As such, Marith admittedly cares nothing for her outer shell when it comes to not offending people with her slightly oversized clothes and love for comfort. Above all, if it feels nice and allows her body the mobility needed for her duties then she will wear it.
Wild coils fall down her shoulders in an often unmanageable way. She hardly ever has her voluminous mane kept back, and absolutely never combs through it. No point to, she will say.
Although Marith is short and petite in her size, she commands attention from just walking into a room. Which may or may not have to do with her attitude problem, as much as it does with her being a legend in the sky.
Stubborn, understandably apprehensive, and the very definition of a leader. Marith is not a damsel in distress; needing no rescuing in the face of danger. While many view her as cynical, it is her compiled characteristics and traits that have made her a legend in a field widely dominated by men. Admired by many, and feared by even more, the aging sky pirate is a woman surrounded by myth and lore that would have any strong man shaking in his boots.
Marith Yeng is passionate about only two things: the loot, and the sky. In her profession she is able to express both of those loves until her heart’s content. It is rare to see her care about anyone or anything else. Unless, of course, it comes to her ragtag crew members.
It is said that if a person needs “fixing”, Marith will scoop them up. While she comes off hardened, her secret soft spot lies in her weakness for those who need help. But, of course, she is very selective and protective over only those deemed worthy of fixing. Her no-nonsense radar has a way of weeding out those who are not, to a point where it’s as if she can look right into one’s own soul.
Marith is sassy, sensible, and a person who has no problem putting others in their place. Quick on her feet, and tech savvy — it’s no surprise that this woman has made history books.
Due to her somewhat allusive nature, not much is known about Marith Yeng’s life before her committing to piracy. What is known, however, are rumors. Rumors saying that she comes from an entirely different world altogether. No one, of course can be sure, but every now and again Marith acts as if she has seen thousands of years of wisdom.
