I am Aliyah Elizabeth :) In my spare time, I write poetry and some songs. Everything on here is based on my personal experiences. I write how I feel. My goal is to to be published one day. Unwanted

As the morning dew glistens, May I request your ear to listen? Just to the words I have to speak. With a broken heart to mend, This is my chance to defend, The little bit of self worth I've found. I know there's no point in chasing, But you've left my mind racing. Having all these unanswered questions. Why am I not the girl for you? Is there anything I could say or do? This business isn't really risky. And I am not so frisky. Can I request an explanation? How do you honestly know, That this isn't the direction you want to go? As the day fades to night, I wonder what stops your fight? To want me in such a way. With a chance to change it all, I'm willing to take the fall, To understand what you don't believe in. We are of no relation, But I'm left with determination. To find the things I haven't understood.

Overwith and Done

No one deserves the pain I feel. It's at the point where nothing seems real. Wanting to run and hide, After losing your sense of pride. Not caring about what you do. It doesn't matter if it will hurt you. Knowing that you're not worth it. Seeing no one cares the slightest bit. The "care" people give is fake. Can't tell how much more you can take. Giving up on everything. Because you know you're a waste of a human being. Stop believing, just quit trying. Inside your soul has been dying. Don't put up a fight. When nothing will ever be alright.

Many Choices

Life is meant for choosing, sometimes you find yourself loosing. There are many choices.

You can let your life pass you by, or just stand up and try. Make the decision for yourself.

Fall into a world of great despair, or let people know you're there. These are the options.

Smile each and every day, or keep wiping those tears away. What will you do?

Living life is about you, and only you.

Honesty

Never thought I'd trust someone so fast, Terrified that this won't last. I promise myself that friendship comes first, So I'll be prepared for the worst. This heart hasn't beaten fast in awhile, My cheeks hurt from the awkward smile. If it goes wrong I'll feel terrible, Life might become somewhat unbearable. So let's not rush things you know, I really want to take it slow. I wouldn't know what to do, I'd probably cry over you. Sweet mistakes, Paranoid shakes. Nothing has happened yet, Something will I bet. Worried about us, Im just relying on your trust.

Believe It

If you're cute, I'll let you know. If you're cared about, I'll let it show. If I like you, I may conceal it. But once I love you, I know you'll feel it.

Many things cease to be seen.

People are truely mean.

Breaking you down,

Simply making you frown.

Feelings of happiness washed away.

Hopefully to return another day.

My wishes were made,

As I continued to be played.

You're worth it to me,

Where else would I be?

I hide my feelings.

Share some pain.

Hold on to moments.

Yet, I blend in with it all.

The seconds. The world. The life. 

And it's as if nothing was ever seen.

How did I die? I remember when I, felt so alive. A simple girl's glory. A poetic story. I know, that this isn't me. How did it, come to be?

Something We Shared

Close enough to feel our breathing, And I could hear his heart beating. I don't know how much time passed, I think this moment was meant to last. It felt like nothing else had occurred, Never expected the sweet words. Both our feelings reawakened, And our being was overtaken. A connection I never thought we had, I have no reason to be sad. All my sorrows went away, On that particular day. You never know what someone means to you, Until they say "I love you."

I know that you're there. It's obvious you care, And I'm grateful. We haven't hugged in awhile. I completely love your smile, It makes me happy. Your vibe always feels good. But I'm wondering if you would, Do something sweet. A simple jesture in my eyes. It shouldn't come as a surprise, Because you know me so well. I've been through so much pain and strife. You could light up my life, If you did it. It's a simple task. A question I'm scared to ask, But here it goes. Everything I know would be shaken. My feelings would reawaken, If this occurred. Neither of us would peek. If you kissed my cheek, It'd be our little secret. Your lips may meet mine. This is such a crazy time, We're just young. That's my simple request. I wanna see who loves who best, Maybe for once we'll know.
