The current wave in headwear has become the “Dad Hat.” The fashion accessory that was once a joke, has taken off as one of must-have items.
Dad hats, as they're becoming known, can be spotted on the heads of many rappers. They're unstructured, usually made of cotton, got likes of Chris Brown, Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, Migos, Rihanna, Drake and 2 Chainz.
Simply put, a baseball cap. But not a snapback, flatbrim, or fitted. Unstructured dad hat with a strap-back and curved rim slowly but surely surpassed snapback hats as the de facto cool-guy cap of hip-hop’s most stylish stars.
