Happy birthday poster for @triyp ! (Our dog Pocket loves to steal socks) Glad to be here as you grow and refine your talents :) (at Los Angeles, California)
Working on a Sugar Skull, X-ray sorta dealie for Whitney. Edie Sedgewick. She may get it inked on when it's done.
Not sure if it's cool to post this here, but did it for work. There was a trade show and everyone worked at local breweries and restaurants. They all got to come up to our booth and try screen printing, themselves, and take home their print. Stoked about reaching the audiences fairly well. These were the images burned on the screens. I'll try to get some pics of people happy doing it at the next event. I believe it's Stone Soul, here in Richmond, Va. If you need design or printing done, come check us out :)
Still wasn't able to feel the height in the previous version, but it was getting there. I was mixing and matching perspectives. So I'm pretty sure that if I set up a circular grid coming from the vanishing point then walk it back in exponentially, I can not only visualize what equal heights would be in the terrain, but also give an extra crunched-in distortion as you go further into the hole (hopefully sucking you into the drop). That's the plan anyway. Can't wait to figure this out, I knew how to do this once mentally, but I've since fallen out of practice while pursuing advertising. It will be good to "feel it" again, when I get there.
One day I will finish this, I swear.
Also, though it's over now, this is the poster I was lucky enough to design for Way, Shape, or Form. The show was last night and it was really good. If you weren't there, you missed out. Anyway, let me know if you need any design done, internet people.
Way, Shape, or Form has some new shirts coming out and I'm super stoked to buy one. I'm also super excited that I was able to work with a group of passionate people who make good music (check them out). I personally recommend "Quiver of Errors".
Hi, my name is Allen... and I just don't know.
Working on the Way, Shape, or Form T-shirt and Tour Poster
The daily struggle continues.
I'm figuring out this is actually a weird one-point perspective and I was doing it wrong haha :) Not sure if the pieces are there yet, though.
Who else thinks robot love will be okay in the future? I do.
Gonna fix some thangs
Bout to do the other poster since I didn't get to do it. At least, I'm gonna do the image [|:{0)
I got the day of the week wrong before, it's on a Monday. This is the final version, after a lot of retouching.
Whelp, almost done. Hopefully it'll be done soon :) Poster for Way, Shape, or Form. The other bands that will be playing at The Camel next Saturday, Feb. 3rd, 2014 for a FREE show (that you should not miss): Clair Morgan Glass Twin
