Good day, my name is Andrew Nii Ankrah and that website that I have posted is a front cover of the novel that I am currently reading which is entitled ‘The Catastrophic History of You &Me’ written by Jess Rothenberg.

The reason why I chose this book is because I thought it would be a romantic story and I am actually into Romance novels. I read a lot of romance novels. But it actually talks about a girl who died of a broken heart after her boyfriend told her that he doesn’t love her anymore.

I write novels of my own which is my most use of my leisure time.

Hi my name is Maryanaxo and I am seventeen years old and I go to James Cardinal McGuigan. I like to play soccer, swim and go shopping with my friends. I like to help people if they need help and I like to spend time with my family and friends. Family and friends would describe me as a nice, funny, and helpful person, and my first goal in life is to be nurse because I love nursing. I chose this book the Ripple Effect because it is about two best friends, Dana and Janelle, that had many plans for grade six but that did not  happen because Janelle got into a car accident and everything changed.😊

Real life connection

Michael's friend Tresh who is famous in YouTube he has 5 million subscribers, Michael emailed him and he answered him out of all these people who sent him emails, Michael was the lucky one. I have a friend who wants to be a youtuber so bad because he doesn't want to study so he sent an email to KSI who has 12 million subscribers and he actually answered but the thing is they talked a bit and he said he had to go he didn't have time and from that day he never contacted my friend.

Conclusion

I kinda liked the book but it wasn't the best, the story was good and everything but it's not what I was expecting from this book, I would recommend this book because others people may like it, people who love fictions and, I like fictions also but I rather read a real story that fiction, I enjoyed reading this book and I rated 3/5 stars.

This book is good but I didn't like it that much because it doesn't have interesting things, the story is boring and its short, at first I thought a whole different, I thought his father died because he had the same disease but it wasn't that he was building the hotel for his family so they can live in it, no one would've even thing of this, this may be a good thing but for me this wasn't good and may be some people would like it but not me.

Summary

First chapters of the book talks about Michael has a lung disease and that he could die any second, Michael always wanted to go to the under water hotel, he takes money from his friend Tresh because he couldn't afford the submarine, they go there and no one is there, his mother and father comes out of no where, and they are mermaids and they tell their son everything and how everything happened and he will transform into a mermaid too and this is all.

Lying

Lying in this book appeared many times, they were lying but for the best of them, Michael's mother lied to him that he was a fin, Michael had a lung disease but that was because he was transforming into a mermaid, his mother didn't tell him and he was suffering everyday, he thought he was going to die any minute or second, his father lied to him that he going to on an expedition, and that he died, Michael thought his father was dead, I don't think that lying is good for Michel because he went through a lot and he doesn't deserve that.

I chose this pictures because it reminds me of Tresh when he was sinking underwater and couldn't breathe, he was stuck in the hotel below the water when a giant fish hit the wall of the hotel and broke it down, water started coming in but a miracle happened and Michael saved Tresh from sinking by sending him in a trash whole that goes all the way up ground, Michael was transforming into a mermaid or a fin so he was ok with being under water.

This pictures showed the two main characters Tresh and Michael, michael is the mermaid and Tresh is the human, they went together to the hotel down the water but that was before michael's transformation into a mermaid, Michael had a lung disease but that was because he was about to transform, he need it less oxygen that why he had a lung disease, his parents didn't tell him because they were marring it surprise for, even his father wasn't dead, he was under water building the hotel, his family owns the place he wished to visit.

Michael

I chose Michael he's the main character of the story, he has a lung disease and says in the that he could at any moment, he's 16 years old and he wishes to visit the hotel below the water, his idol is a youtuber who has 5 million subscribers, eventually he met him and went to the hotel. He is the main character beside his mother and Tresh the youtuber, Michael is a smart guy and has a sense of humour, he is always happy and never feels bad about himself, he can deal with the situation that he's into.

Deep Water Hotel summary

I've read 3 chapters so far and I liked the book, it talks about a boy named Michael who has a lung disease and his mother is always scared if something happens to him, she's always supporting him, his father died when he a little kid, his father was on an expedition in deep the ocean and he died there, this is what his mother tell him all the time but he always want to know more but she doesn't tell him. But I think the father had the same disease as the son so the mother doesn't want to tell her son, if she did he wouldn't be going to the hotel under the water, Michael is going with his idol, a youtuber who has more than 5 million subs on YouTube his name is Tresh. I really liked the book and I think it's going to be a sad ending because he went without his mother and Tresh is going to leave when they get to the hotel. 😎😎😎😎

I’m Allen, 17 years old, I go to James Cardinal McGuigan, in grade 12, I chose Deep Water Hotel because I think it’s interesting book of how it look from its cover, it talks about a guy who suffers from a lung disease, I read the description and I think it’s a good story, I liked the title of the book and I think that’s why I chose it, the book talks about mysterious things, it seems like the book has some horrifying things or may be creatures, I know I’m going to like this book and I’m gonna enjoy reading it.😀😀
