It was a welcome change to hear an alpha view the world in the same way Skylar does. He knew the importance of the role omegas played, and believed others should as well. They weren’t items to use and abuse, an opinion many in town don’t seem to share. “I’m sure you’re full of culinary surprises,” the blonde remarked and popped more chili-coated fries into his mouth. He was definitely curious to try more of Tristan’s cooking in the near future. Yet another reason to return to the restaurant. Emerald green eyes fell to the waiter’s name tag, earning an understanding nod from Skylar. “So, Tristan. I don’t think you’re a shifter… certainly not a fae. Nor do you embody an arcane user.” The blonde tilted his head to the side in mild curiosity. He was typically good at being able to distinguish supernaturals, but this one had him stuck. “What exactly are you?”
Tristan laughed. "I do have many surprises up my sleeves, culinary and otherwise," he agreed with an amused nod. And then he had a choice to make, whether or not to disclose to Skylar what he was. He knew not everyone was incredibly keen on getting to know a vampire, no matter how good of an employee he may have been at the bar. But Skylar had given him no reason to believe it would necessarily be an issue, either. If anything, the other seemed fairly open minded. Or maybe Tristan was just hopeful. "No, certainly not fae or arcane user," he agreed, his tone almost teasing. As he smiled, he let his fangs become visible, his smile growing. "I'll leave the arcane stuff to you."
