Yesterday I was talking to Eric and said I wanted to start an herb garden (mostly because the herbs I want for cooking are literally never available at the store)

Eric: Sure you’ll start it fine, but I’m more worried about you taking care of it long term.

Me: It’s important that I try things, even if I do them imperfectly or fail at them.

File under things I definitely would never have said pre-therapy!

Turns out there’s no way to switch to a different primary tumblr and I can only follow folks through this account, so I went through and cleaned up aaaaall 8k posts, which honestly is a relief because truly I did not need every passing thought I had between college and now just floating out there all willy nilly

Today I cleaned out my closet for the first time in years, and I ended up carting two huge bags of clothes to Goodwill and throwing another huge bag away. I tend to hold onto clothes way past their expiration date, and I found that making firm rules really helped me actually get rid of the stuff that needed to go (awesome dress that hasn't fit in two years and jeans from highschool, I'm looking at you). I hope y'all find this flow chart helpful!
