So many fair weather friends
Confused. Just confused.
I should be used to this by now....
Should I just get used to people leaving with no explanation? I don't want to but I'm tired of my heart breaking every time someone has a busier agenda than me.
I live for coincidences. They briefly give to me the illusion or the hope that there’s a pattern to my life, and if there’s a pattern, then maybe I’m moving toward some kind of destiny where it’s all explained.
Jonathan Ames
Not sure we agree with the “You’re never supposed to order straight gin” part. There are some pretty amazing gins out there.
This is great. I love gin.
In honor of spring time....
“When spring came, even the false spring, there were no problems except where to be happiest. The only thing that could spoil a day was people and if you could keep from making engagements, each day had no limits. People were always the limiters of happiness except for the very few that were as good as spring itself.” A Moveable Feast, Ernest Hemingway (via thecountryfucker)
“The bigger you feel things, the more curious you are; and the more problems you want to solve and not actually run from, the better everything is, even the things you already love.” Ben Tanzer
The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams
The scary thing about dating is that you will either marry the person or break up.
I'm learning to be more careful with my words. Words that seem meaningless at the time can end up having a lot of power. Seeds that you didn't even intend to plant can fall off you and start growing in people.
“The opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it’s indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it’s indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it’s indifference.” Elie Wiesel
There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.
New York had lied to me, I needed the truth. I need some one I can trust. And I believe I found him.
Sometimes I wish things were easier. That everything that is supposed to happen does and that is causes my heart very little strife. Sometimes I wonder why things need to hurt or be uncomfortable. The answer to why the universe gives us these tasks, chances, obligations and duties is an unimaginable one.
Sometimes I am grateful that things are hard. That everything that is supposed to happen does and causes my heart what ever strife it needs too. Sometimes I enjoy the uncomfortableness and have pleasure in learning from the hurt. Some times I like to imagine why the universe gives us these tasks, chances and obligations and duties.
“You’re all locked up in that little world of yours, and when I try knocking on the door, you just sort of look up for a second and go right back inside.” Haruki Murakami
