At long last I’ve got together the info and it’s time I introduced my four main Dragonborn OCs! As a note, all of them are the Dragonborn in their own stories, but not all of them have realised it yet.

Each of them has their own post and associated tags, I’ll probably update this post with any stories/excerpts I write with them involved. Feel free to send any asks about them (I love to ramble about my babies so pls do), I’ll probably do an askOC game at some point.

Recovery doesn't necessarily mean 'fixed.' I think a lot of people picture recovery as this neat little finish line where you take your meds, go to therapy, and then the “bad stuff” just…stops. But that’s not always what recovery looks like.

For me, recovery has meant learning to work with my brain instead of constantly fighting it, especially when it comes to my bipolar disorder. Despite therapy and medication, my manic and depressive cycles haven’t gone away. But I’ve learned to understand them, and that has changed everything.

When I feel a manic episode coming on, I use that energy to prepare for the inevitable downswing with things like meal prep, queuing up posts, pre-making products for my business. I treat it like stocking up for a storm.

When depression hits, I switch into coping mode. I remind myself it’s temporary, I reach out to my support system, and I try to do the opposite of what my brain urges like isolating. I know now that I can get through it, even if it’s hard.

I haven’t “stopped” my cycles. But I understand them. I can work with them. And my quality of life is so much better than when I was constantly at war with myself.

Recovery doesn’t have to mean “fixed.” Sometimes, it just means you’ve learned how to live with your brain in a way that doesn’t destroy you and that is worth celebrating.

"I won't read anthing with a single typos." You made typos in that sentence, get off your high horse.

"One singular author didn't thank me for commenting, I'm never commenting on any fic again so I don't get burned." You're punishing people because someone didn't give you engagement they don't owe you that they might not have seen.

"This fic is three months old, it's so old, it doesn't matter if I comment or kudos, it's old." Fics do not have expiration dates, comment and kudos.

You're killing your fandoms with your snobbish behaviors.
