Today
Today I saw you sitting there in the corner of the cafe. Smiling and laughing, it was you but not the you that I know in the last year. Not the same you who has been so mean to me. Not the same you who has been telling me I’m crazy. Not the same you that told me over and over again that you don’t love me anymore but there you were, sitting there with her, smiling with her, laughing and talking with her. The same her that you told me over and over again to not worry about. The same her that you told me that I’m crazy to think that there’s anything going on between you two. The same her that you were texting at 4am. The same her that you would spend talking on the phone at night while I sit there on the couch across from you. So today I saw you and her and my heart broke, not for you but for me.Â
