So many weird things happened at the charter school I went to during elementary school and middle school.
Honestly, it’s only when I left the school back then that I realized how bad it was.
Example 1: Nearing the end of the school year (elementary school), our teacher asked us what movie we wanted to watch, as she’s scrolling through Netflix. I assumed it would be some animated movie…. Boy was I wrong.
We ended up watching Final Destination 3.
Not even mentioning the gore, there’s literally a scene of two girls in a tanning booth… unclothed… uncensored.
She did not turn off the film, or even skip the scene.
Example 2: Very obvious favoritism with some teachers. There was this boy in my class taught by the teacher from the first example. He was a bully, (not like egregious and targeted behavior, more like he tended to act out and blow up at other kids.) I’m pretty sure it was said that he was on the spectrum. But that teacher literally called him “slow” anytime he misbehaved. She literally looked like she couldn’t stand the kid.
Then another teacher, social studies if I recall correctly, would give out lunch detentions for literally anything the “bad kids” did. Like a boy, I kid you not, dropped his pencil, and went to go pick it up. Guess what he got? Lunch detention. There was a time where she gave the whole class lunch detention. And while we were told to work silently for the rest of her class, she walked around the room quietly handing out sticky notes that said, “you don’t have lunch detention” to the few “good kids”, including me. You know it’s bad if one of her favorites thinks what she did is weird, even when being actively rewarded.
Example 3: 5th grade science teacher was very judgmental. She often labeled me as being dramatic for literally no reason.
During the end of the year field trip, which was a trip to Universal Orlando, we went to a ride themed around planet of the apes or something. But the problem is that the building it was in had really dim lights. And suddenly I was hit with intense vertigo. I’m literally about to pass out, and the staff security guard from school is trying to help me stay up and calm. My science teacher literally says, “she’s just being dramatic.” I swear I could see her roll her eyes too.
That’s not even it. One thing to know about me is that I hate rollercoasters or any ride with excessive or fast movement. This means that on this field trip (and many future theme park field trips, until finally decided to stop wasting money to go), I was unfortunately the bag holder, as the rides we went on were determined by what the majority of the group wanted to go on. So basically the whole day I’m holding everyone’s bags.
This is important, because seeing that I was being left out, another staff member from my school asked if I wanted to go on this Jurassic Park themed water ride. She told me there wasn’t going to be any fast movement. I trusted her, and went. It was fun at first, with just a few small drops down. And then… we suddenly started going up, and up, and up. And of course we then proceeded to plummet down a slope at high speed.
Obviously, I was petrified. After I got off the ride I fell to the curb hyperventilating and crying, and the staff member who told me to go on the ride was apologizing and trying to calm me down. And here comes my science teacher, looking at me annoyed, rolling her eyes and scoffing. Like… I’m sorry I’m a child who has a fear???
Anyway, that was a long winded way of saying my charter school sucked, and I don’t understand why people become teachers if they don’t like caring for kids.

A hyperactive and cheerful 18-year-old girl. Indie always seems give off gremlin energy, unironically. Since she’s a 2*Star Virtualetta, she can alter small features of her base V-Jewel/Coord. So she swapped out her glass eye for one with a different colored iris (the one on the right) and put on the white face paint. She’s always at 100% all the time, just a ball of pure energy. She was in the circus with her family as an acrobat, before she was a Virtualetta. Always loved entertaining others, and is known for her catchphrase, “Why frown, when you can clown around?”
Charlotte Monet | Jinx
Style: Vibrant Witchy
Colors: Amethyst (Main) Aquamarine and Spinel (Accent)
Weapon: “Spellbound Baton”
Aspect Color: Amethyst
A very monotone and chill 19-year-old. She’s definitely a girl of few words, rarely showing excessive emotion, besides the spaced-out look she usually has. She’s still very compassionate, despite her monotone speech. Charlotte has always been interested in fantasy witchcraft and sorcery, which has caused her to obviously adopt a witchy persona herself. She's at least 6 feet tall, so literally the definition of a gentle giant. She’s a 2*Star Virtualetta like her partner Pierrot.
I’m honestly so tired of fandom these days for one simple reason.
People will focus so much on what they want to happen in a story, or what their headcanons are for a story, that it basically becomes the truth for them. So when a show doesn’t go in that direction, they feel betrayed and enraged at the creator. And that’s really discouraging.
Even with characters! Someone might like a character in a piece of media, and share this online with the community. But because in the fandom, they are not liked (whether it be that the character was mean to a fan-favorite, or just what people have speculated about a character) the community will find many reasons to try and convince them their opinion is wrong.
It’s like we can’t just have preferences anymore, it has to either be that you’re right or you’re wrong. And that sucks because fandoms should be the place where you can talk about what you like about a series and how you enjoy it, without being told you’re enjoying it wrong.
Dawg this is cringe af. Taking another artist’s art, covering their watermark, posting it as your own, blocking those who call you out’s messages, and ON TOP OF THAT, saying this mess. Oh, this hurts to see, it’s so embarrassing.

Liv Moore | Lolli
Style: Candy Pop

An immensly optimistic 16 year old. Liv is a very bright yet ditzy girl, with an amazing singing voice and talent for dance. She’s great at sports, ususally doesn’t spend too much time outdoors. She can easily figure out when someone is upset and isn’t afraid to do what ever it takes to help them heal. In fact, because she’s so dedicated to helping others, she sometimes forgets to take care of herself! She’s also in love with fashion, trying out new styles whenever she can aford it, though she ususally wears Amekaji inspired clothes. Due to all these traits, she was scouted out and chosen as a perfect canadate to join the Virtualetta Program, which trains Idols to fight crime and catch gigs along the way.
Amelia “Lee” Francis | Allure

Colors: Violet (Main) Magenta and Gold (Accent)

A very self-assured 17 year old, Lee is one of the top Virtualettas in the rankings. Though her rivals would argue this is due to nepotism, being the niece of the founder and CEO of the Virtualetta company, she is genuinely good at what she does and she knows it. She can be a bit overbearing at times, as when she believes one of her hunches is right, she is gonna prove it one way or another, but she has a good heart. She’s never really had any deep relationships outside of a few people, including family, due to her quote “Idol aura”, which makes her seem a bit unapproachable. In reality, she’s not like that at all, and is just a bit bad at communicating what she’s feeling.
Some of you may remember my birthday Artwork of me and my friend, that was a fake magical girl series named Twin PriMagic. Well this year I’ve made another artwork for it!
I got really inspired by a YouTuber who wanted to make girls games based on the ones you used to see on girls go games, like Avata Star Sue, @ diby_doodle on Instagram. So l wanted to make my own rendition of what a line of girly games would look like, but of course with a magical girl twist. In the future I'll draw fake screenshots of each of the games, as not only will it be fun, but it'll also be good background practice for me!

Star Hoshino:
A bright and sometimes brash middle schooler. She possesses a magic makeup compact called the PlanetPact that allows her to transform into a magical heroine. She has 3 different forms she can turn into, Chef Star, Idol Star, and Magical Star, each with their own different abilities. She usually uses her compact for good deeds or to solve a problem, although things rarely if ever go how she originally planned it. But in the end, she always finds a way to save the day!
I’m definitely gonna draw more with this character, so let me know what you think!
