Liar ( Brewer street version 1973 )

Liar was written by Freddie in 1970 while he was still know as Farrok (Fredrick) Bulsara, And before John Deacon joined the band the following year.

It is one of the bands hevier songs. As mentioned on the transcription EMI Music publishing off the record sheet music, this is one of the bands few ‘70s tracks to feature a Hammond organ.

Liar was adapted from ibex/wreckage and sour milk tea song “lover” as confirmed later by Ibex’s roadie , Geoff Higgins. The lyrics used to go “ Lover you never believe me” and Fred turned it into “Liat you never believe me” it was almost the same tune, but not quite.
