Life as an artist is hard. I don’t know how people go viral with their shit, if i had just one person share my work then I’ll be happy bc that’s how other people see my work and find me but it’s like everyone fends for themselves. No one supports truly bc if they did they’d share but they don’t so. I’ll just be emo again.
Taking photos of myself as a thirty year old just feels embarrassing—not the act itself, but the weight of trying to reconcile the image I see with the version I feel inside. I’m unable to bridge the gap between the lived sensation of being alive and the flatness of how I’m seen. It feels incomplete—almost hollow. That disconnect has created a tension that makes me reluctant to be seen at all.
A beautiful woman who holds a needle to string words together so you read how you feel exactly and you feel a little less alone.
