I SHIP YOU WITH KHAL DROGO
I see this working out for you because if you were to be wed to the Khal you wouldn’t take shit from the lower ranking males in the group and would be able to hold your role as a Khaleesi very well. You would be a strong figure amongst the Dothraki people and Khal Drogo would totally dig that (god how old am I?) having older brothers I feel would make you a stronger leader that he might expect and I think you two would grow to love eachother as a cute wise power couple. While you might be a little more tender hearted than he, you both would have your people in mind.
One night you found yourself alone in your family’s home whilst they were away across seas
The house was typically quiet, but not silent on late nights such as these
But tonight.....something was off
You laid in you bed quietly listening around for the maids or guards that frequently used the hallway outside your bedroom
You slowly lifted yourself up and went to peer out your window, to your surprise, the yard was pitch black
Not a single torch was lit
You stomach churned and you found a bead of sweat rolling down your forehead
You quickly grabbed your clothes and dressed yourself before running to the edge of your bed
You pulled a drawer open on your nightstand and took out the small dagger your eldest brother had given you as a gift
You carefully slid it into your belt and grabbed the spare lantern in your room beside your door
Within seconds you were outside your door and stalking down the hallway
You were careful not to let the wood creak beneath your feet
Voices started to echo beside the stairs
You crept closer and listened in
“They all have left. No one is home. Please leave the house be.” A gentle but shaky voice begged through sniffles
You recognized this voice to belong to one of your closet friends, a young maid who worked for your family and who you often found company with
You went down the round staircase slowly and tried to get a peek at the person cause your maid’s distress
Your eyes wandered past her defeated form from its place on the floor in the dark
Two men stood above her, looking rough, dirty and foreign
You didn’t recognize there accents either as they mumbled to eachother about who knows what
You crept a little further, doing everything in your power to use the edge of the staircase as a cover to keep yourself hidden
“We take her, and any others.” One of the men finally spoke loud enough to catch your ear
“To the ship then?” One man nodded and quickly ripped you maid from her place on the floor.
“No!” You jumped forward and shouted, catching both of the men by surprise
They both jolted back and placed each of their hands on the swords attached to their belts
“I thought you said no one was home!” The man holding onto the maid hissed down at her.
“Back off!” You shouted. The man laughed and his friend pushed past him in your direction
“Don’t fight and no one has to die.”
“You’re right.” You slowly moved the dagger from your belt, “No one has to die. But someone will, if you don’t leave my home.”
You swing back and sent a kick directly at his crotch
He dropped immediately and cradled himself from the floor
His friend dropped the maid and came at you
You pushed yourself back out of the way as his dive ended with him on his stomach on the floor
You kicked swiftly at his rib cage until he rolled over and you were able to send a last kick at his head, rendering him unconscious
You leapt forward and grabbed your friend by the hand
“We need to leave, both of us. It’s not safe here.” You whispered to her, moving a strand of hair from her eyes
“My lady, there are more of them.” You eyes studied hers as the words rolled off her tongue.
“How many?” As you asked the front doors busted open with more foreign looking strangers
“Ah, that many.” You mumbled backing towards the stairs
You grabbed your friend’s hand and the two of you took off up the stairs
The sounds of the men’s footsteps followed behind you-
You looked around and chose a open door on the left you reached for the handle and your maids scream caught you by surprise
You jolted and turned back to look at her
A man had grabbed a fistful of her skirt and was pulling her back to the foot of the stairs
You pulled her closer to yourself and kicked the man in the head, causing him to roll backwards down the stairs
“Come on” you called pushing her into the room before you. You closed the door and pressed up against it and placed a single finger at your lips
Footsteps passed by the door and begin to fade off in the distance.
“We need to get out. Contact my father.” The maid nodded at you as you spoke.
“They will take this home while they are away, they’ve already gotten to far. If they take me-“ you breath was shaky “if they take me, tell father in the letter. I’ll be okay.”
You tightened your grip on your dagger
You snuck the door open slowly and looked both ways.
You could hear faint voices around the other side of the hall which broke off to the back door
You creeped toward the staircase again and listened
You slowly crept down the steps and looked back
You maid was right beside you
“Okay, we need to go out the front and head to the shipyard. We can borrow one of our family boats and head down the coast. I have family there.” You slunk through the main room and took note of the two unconscious men from earlier
“My lady, we cant possibly go without coin, your family’s stash.”
You looked at her, she did make sense but money was the last thing you were thinking about
“Yeah, I suppose you’re right”
You two rush out the door and down the stone steps
You ducked behind bushes as people with torches frantically ran by
In minutes you two had made it to a small cemetery with a small building just before the edge of the town
You pulled a key from a small hidden area behind a brick on the building and unlocked the door
A gust of wind hissed behind you and your quickly snapped your head around
“Don’t worry my lady, I don’t see anyone.” You felt uneasy for some reason, but you nodded and unlocked the door and headed down the staircase into the crypt
“Be careful not to touch anything. As a kid I always feared that this place was haunted and if I touched someone’s secret item, I would be cursed.” You thought about how silly that sounded at a time like this
You counted the stone coffins in a line until you fell upon your great grandfathers. You quickly got on your knees and ripped a heavy stone on the floor up from its spot
Beneath it was a hefty wood crate which you cracked open with the tip of your dagger
“This was hidden here by my father in case of emergency, but we shouldn’t take it all, having that much on us would not be safe.” You grabbed a handful of gold coins and waited to hear a response from the maid
“Here I can give you these-“ you turned to hand off coins when you noticed four male figures standing behind your maid, who now had a maniacal grin on her face
“You can actually give them all to us. We will be needing them more than you.”
You slowly stood up and looked at her
She Betrayed you, your family!
You looked at it, then at her
I’m a second you had lunged at her with fury in your eyes
“F**k you!” You hissed frantically trying to claw at her face
Before you could get a hold of her two men grabbed you by your arms as you kicked and screamed
“Well that’s not very nice.” She flicked her hand and you were promptly dragged out of the room kicking and screaming and cursing
As soon as you made it outside your hands were bound and a starch smelling canvas bag was thrown over your head
Suddenly a blunt object hit the back of your head and you were out
When you awoke you feel nauseous and sick
Someone behind you pulled you up by your wrists and forced you to your feet
You struggled to get a steady step in as you were shoved along an unseen floor
You could hear deep voices around you
Speaking a language you didn’t recognize and your stomach tightened
Suddenly the bag was whipped from your head
Yellow bright sun flooded your eyes causing them to tear up and close
“Ain’t this one a beautiful young lady?” The man behind you called
You finally allowed your eyes to adjust to the light
Before was a large group of men half dressed in skins and leathers
All tall and intimidating with dark hair and deep cold brown eyes
“A gift.” The man behind you said “to honor you mighty Khal.” You looked behind you at the man who has less of a grip on you now and you kicked hard at his shin. He dropped to grab his wounded shin
And you took the opportunity to knee him in the face
The men behind you cheered and laughed
“I am NO ONES property!” You hissed
You took a sidestep away for the man and tripped over your ankle sending you backwards
He grabbed your arm and pulled you to your feet
He grinned and slowly stepped aside and pointed to a open area with a few Dothraki men and one knight looking fellow
You took a deep breath and looked back
you were somewhere far away from home
Essos, obviously but your eyes couldn’t find the body of water you had traveled upon.
You looked back at the Khal who seemed intrigued by your actions
You walked forward towards where he gestured
The men shouted and whistled as you walked by and you frowned at them
“Animals.” You growled walking up to the only person near you who seemed to speak common.
“Patience with them, my lady, they are not used to foreigners.” He said gently, his blue eyes watching you carefully
“Why am I here? I don’t belong. I was on a ship and I was kidnapped and I need to find my brothers and father-”
“My dear I’m afraid that is out of your hands.” He cut you off and you cocked your head.
“And WHY is that?” You couldn’t help but to anxiously tap your foot.
“You’ve just been awarded to the Khal as-”
“Awarded? Excuse me but I-”
“As his wife, and as a trade for passage through these lands.” The man could see your frustration.
You ignored his gaze and swiftly spun around only to meet the cold dark eyes of Khal Drogo who towered above you
You didn’t flinch but only straightened yourself.
He chuckled and looked around at the other men, who did the same.
The knight stepped up behind you.
“He can not understand you, my lady.”
“Well then translate.” You hissed
The Man stepped beside you and Drogo who still had a grin on his face as he looked down at you.
“Tell him I need to go home.”
The man looked at Drogo and spoke cautiously in Dothraki. Drogo looked over to him and immediately responded in a deep voice
“That’s wonderful but I’m afraid he’s wrong. I am-”
Drogo said a single word which made you fall silent.
For a moment your eyes meant and you felt small.
Like a small mouse caught under the paw of a lion
“What-” you took a slow shallow breath “Did he say...?” You looked over at the man beside you.
“He said...his....You are his.”
The Khal’s eyes narrowed as he walked away from you but they didn’t break contact until he entered a large opened tent
Multiple other woman came out of no where and tugged at your hair and clothing.
It wasn’t long after that that you actually became close to Khal Drogo. Your wedding and first week alone with him had made you question your entire life but as you laid beside him every night you realized just how important you were to him... You had noticed how anytime another man had looked at you a little to long he was there to literally beat the shit out of them or ward them off. And when he was being disrespected behind his back you were there to put the others in their place. You picked up Dothraki fast and though he was unwilling at first, he learned a little of your language too.
As the two of you grew stronger together you decided that even though you loved him and his people. You longed to see your family. And the first time you had mentioned it, he agreed to help you find them. Your relationship had blossomed and though he was definitely rough... You grew to trust him more than anyone else you had ever known.
Hope you Liked, sorry it took so long!
