Fashion & Style Recap: My Fave Moments of 2017 👭👗👜👠💅 . 1. #Blackgirlmagic everywhere! This was the year of diverse beauty- we saw images of the darkest to the palest of beauties and it's looking like girls of all complexions are becoming comfortable in their own skin . 2. Models @adwoaaboah @duckieofficial and @slickwoods proved to be the new faces taking over runways and campaigns with their own unique attributes . 3. The Gatekeepers @elainewelteroth and @edward_enninful took over mainstream publications and fly shit ensued . 4. Dapper Dan vs. Gucci fiasco... coulda got ugly but creative director @alessandromichele made up for the silent homage by bringing some street luxury heat for 2018. Look out for that! . 5. Big Baller Brand- say what you want about Lavar Ball and his sons, but to come out with their own luxe bball shoe waa pretty bold and I'm here for it. I will never buy them, but I ain't suppose to lol... . . #FlygirlChronicles: What a year! I had a ball collaborating with so many people this year in the fashion, style and beauty industry and I can't complain at all 🙌🙌 . A few highlights: . -Premiere of A Father's Love a short film I did costume work for . -Styled a few photo shoots and films with @virgovoodoo and @wtmpresents . -Personal shopper for more private clients . -Worked briefly at a fly ass boutique . -Produced a style show and styled a few scenes in other fashion shows . -Offered new services on the website including the HOF Model Portal for working models . -Spoke at several conferences and organized mini style presentations . -Organized a Thrift Style Challenge and produced a mini fashion show with styles on a budget . -Personal style workshops, Power Dressing and Vision Board workshops for all ages . -Hosted the @jaceleste Pink and White Fashion Show . -Curated my own damn Fashion Month . -Participated in lots of community/volunteering projects using my gifts and skills . -Updated my blog and went to lots of cool places witb the FlyGirl Chronicles . -Freelance fashion journalist for outside publications . . 2017 was lit, I'm excited for 2018 💜 .
