hihihihi do you have a minecraft skin making tutorial i want to know how you make such neat skins like w the outfit meme thingy n such please those look so cool

as for the tutorial i really don't have much advice to give but here's a couple

get blockbench(which sounds like a cash grab from mojang but seriously, it's specifically tailored for minecraft models so it's great for skins plus it's free!)

pretty much just like any other art form, study!! other!! artists!!, most of my skins is a mishmash of cool things i've seen people make

devise a skin pattern to follow, it makes it ten times easier to make quick skins, things like pants patterns, sleeve patterns, pretty much anything

also hue shifting, hue shifting is great. don't just focus on darkening the values but change the hue up, otherwise you end up with sad yellow sweaters like the first one

so uh. i may or may not have gone a little off topic on the assignment

but!!! christmas joe hills dress. it’s green and teal, one of which is definitely a christmas colour

i got actually genuinely sad erasing the @ symbol so i put it back as a big decoration in joes hair

the dress is an edited version of the mrs claus template posted by jillaen on skindex! i had to do some minor changes to make the sleeves fit the 4px arms along with the obvious colour change from red to green

anyway hi joe if you see this and want to use it absolutely feel free, this was very fun to do. im sorry i couldnt figure out how to do the cool transparent glasses
