The castle is a national cultural monument and has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1993. Since 2004, it has been part of a protected area of European importance within the European network of protected areas Natura 2000.

Costume of Velky Lom, Slovakia
Christmas wafer (Polish: opłatek, plural opłatki; Lithuanian: kalėdaitis, plural kalėdaičiai; Slovak: oblátka, plural oblátky) is a Catholic Christmas tradition celebrated in Poland, Lithuania, and Slovakia. The custom is traditionally observed during Kūčios in Lithuania and Wigilia in Poland on December 24.
The unleavened wafers are baked from pure wheat flour and water, are usually rectangular in shape and very thin; they are identical in composition to the altar bread that becomes the Eucharist at the consecration during Mass in the Roman Catholic Church. The Opłatki wafers are embossed with Christmas-related religious images, varying from the nativity scene, especially Virgin Mary with baby Jesus, to the Star of Bethlehem.

New Art Account Alert!!
Hi! My name is Ty, I am a young artist based in Slovakia starting a new account to refocus and post more of my original art . I will try my best to keep up with updating this blog because after a long time I feel very excited about creating and sharing my work again.
If you'd like to follow me along on this new journey, it would mean the world. In the last year I made a ton of illustration and animation related art for portfolios and (even though making it made me want to rip all my hair out sometimes,) I successfully made it into the art schools I applied to, falling ever so deeply in love with creating like never before.
I'd really appreciate it if you rbd this post and gave it a lil boost. It would make all the difference.
Also.... enjoy this older concept art for a cyberpunk comedy comic :)
