Hi all, maybe you've forgotten me but after almost three years I'm finally catching up with your messages both on Tumblr and AO3.

Life has taken me on numerous journeys these past few years. I am a mum of two now, I relocated and moved house at the start of the year and add to that, a few family issues have kept me busy.

I miss you guys though and keeping in touch with you all, so I bought a laptop, found my USB with all my writing on and downloaded the Tumblr app in hopes of kickstarting my creativity again.

We'll see...

Let it be known though, that I often think about FL and feel bad I abandoned it for so long, especially when I see all your lovely messages of understanding and encouragement.

Hi. I am not dead. I am alive and well and just recently read your messages and comments on AO3. I see them filter into my email inbox, but I get so much anxiety that I stopped reading them for a while because I know I’m of POS who hasn’t updated her story in way over a year. 

I had a baby last year and it’s true what they say, it changes your life (and your sleep schedule) dramatically. Obviously, baby comes first and so that’s my reason for not writing anything in so long, because I’m generally exhausted and never know if I’m going to get a good night sleep, plus it’s just hard to find the TIME to sit down for a few hours, uninterrupted and write. 

Oh, also... I lost the USB that had my entire story/planning on it and do not know where else to look for it, so if any of y’all are psychics or whatever, let me know where it is and it’ll make my life as a fanfic writer a whole lot easier. 

Trust me, continuing Filthy Lucre is like, the last thing on my mind before I fall asleep each night and I know I’m bad, bad, bad for making you all wait for long but I’m slowly gearing myself up for it, so please forgive me. I’ve not forgotten you wonderful people and strive to make it up to you in the (hopefully) not-so distant future!

Hey, you know it’s been over 10 months since I last updated? I thank you all for being so patient and waiting and generally being awesome. I am the worst writer, I’ve gotten so lazy but I sat down this morning and wrote almost 3000 words, all of them rubbish, but it is definitely a start. I’m finding it hard to get back into the swing of things, into that “writer’s mindset” again after so long but I am TRYING really hard to get myself in order. 

Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who celebrate it. I’m cooking a chicken and should be preparing some soup, but am fretting over fanfiction instead, wahooo!

hey, i dont mean to sound rude or anything, but if you aren't going to finish FL, would you consider just writing a short summary of how the story was meant to end so us readers can have some closure?

I’m going to finish it. I know it’s been months, but I am busy and tired around 95% of the time. Chill y’all. Watch some Netflix documentaries and perfect a banana bread recipe or something.
