Mental health. It’s very important! I don’t understand why people feel the need to act like it’s not a serious topic. I also feel like people think if you talk about your struggles with mental health you’re “weird” or “not cool”. I can’t stress ENOUGH that talking and checking on your friends, family, or anyone important to you is the MOST IMPORTANT THING you can do for those people. I have chronic stress which messes with me a lot. Some reoccurring symptoms I have are trouble breathing, bipolar depression, and anxiety. With nursing school and trying to balance my whole life it’s been giving me a lot of stress which makes these problems occur more frequently. I talk to the people closes to me about this stuff because when they do happen they know the underlying problem and can try and help or just be there for me any way they can. For the people reading this I HOPE that you value your mental health just as much as you value anything else. Take care of yourself and make sure the people in your corner are thriving and surviving with you!
