Sure thing! They’re really not that awful. It’s mostly, I’m just using whatever scraps of yarn I have, so some of them end up okay, and others are just a rainbow mess. 

I don’t knit, I crochet. Crochet is with a single hook, knitting’s got multiple needles and stuff. Never got into knitting, but crochet isn’t too hard. It’s essentially making a bunch of chains with yarn and a hook. I learned off youtube.

The fact that you turned scraps of yarn into anything is enough to be proud of I think. Rainbow messes are absolutely okay with me. And if anything I’ll get a kick of insisting my boyfriends wears a very bright, colorful hat.

Oh! Sorry. But still...that doesn’t sound too bad. I might have to give tutorial videos a try, learn something new this year.

With the weather the way it’s been, I’ve been trying some patterns for hats and scarves with whatever yarn I’ve got. If you don’t care about colors or stitches being uneven or anything like that, I’m planning on making as many of them as I can manage. Whatever isn’t claimed will go to Secure Reaches and the hospital, or wherever other people who need them are. 

I stress again, these aren’t that pretty. If you’re looking for pretty, go to Etsy. But I’m pretty sure they’ll at least be warm and you’ll have a Rouhani original. 

If there’s still some up for grabs, I’d definitely be interested in both! Warmth always wins out over pretty. Also just to appease my curiosity...is knitting difficult to learn?

a large-scale painting she’s done of his family’s farm, and his grandfather’s watch engraved with his last name--which she got after contacting his mother.

Charlie, you mean more to me than I could ever hope to put into words. You’ve given me a reason to do more than just exist. I wish I could give you everything, but for now I think this could maybe suffice. I can’t wait to spend every other Christmas with you, and more than that, I can’t wait to spend our Christmases together at that same farm. Thank you for choosing me, and for being mine.

Jasper, while this year has had a lot of ups and downs, I know at the end of the day I can always count on you. I love you and thank you for being in my life and being one of my best friends. I can’t wait for all the new stories you’ll be coming up with in the future.

I was sent to a boarding school across the country where I didn’t know anyone....I think I was more focused on myself than the teachers. But I mean it! I’d like to help. Charlie will be there though, I have my ways of persuading him. Not sure if I can get him on skates, but..we’ll see.

Aight, so here’s the dealio. Ya girl has consulted legit everyone she can ‘bout this and has come to a decision. The lit af party is gonna be new years eve. There’s gonna be lights, green energy sources, food, liquor, legit everything. So here’s what I need from y’all: 

I’m gonna need everyone to take ‘bout 69 calm downs and about 4 deep breaths. This is to have fun, feed a bunch of people, keep folks warm kinda and let loose a lil’ bit. Ring in the new year on a good note. Feel to bring whatever y’all can– tents, food, grills, fire-pits. It’s gonna be at Rollerzone, partially inside and then partially outside in the parkin’ lot. If you wanna rent some skates, it’ll be one (1) nonperishable food thing so it can be donated to the hospital. Also, I’m probs gonna need a volunteer for That, so if you were That Kid in school who volunteered for errands and everything for the teacher, like a wannabe teacher’s pet– now’s your chance to fulfill your destiny, except instead of running attendance to the office, you’re gonna be handin’ out skates to folks. 

I...actually don’t think a party is a bad idea. I agree that I think everyone can use something lighthearted and easy. To loosen up a bit, like you said. So I’ll definitely talk to Charlie about going. And even though I..definitely wasn’t a ‘teacher’s pet’, if you’re still in need of help with the skates or anything, I’d be happy to assist where I can if you want.

I love working with charcoal, and also painting.. though recently I’ve also been into sculpting. Honestly really anything that allows me to express myself is perfect to me.

I’ve never done sculpting before...not sure how good at it I’d be if I’m being honest. I’ve always been more into paints and sketching. I’ve dabbled a bit with charcoals, but mainly I’ve used acrylics. Is there...still a lot of supplies left at the college? I’m running a bit low. And all the same, I think I’ll stop by one of your classes, it sounds fun.

I am, actually– I’ve decided to hold it during the weekdays, since that’s actually the one bit of normalcy we can hold on to. You’re more than welcome to come, though. Do you have something in particular you’re interested in? We can get a headstart on discussions, if you don’t mind. It’s not a problem at all, just my duty as a doctor. 

I’ll see about stopping by then, since things have strangely seemed to...settle a bit. And not having to walk around with crutches anymore is definitely a plus now too. Oh um..I’m not....I’m not one hundred percent sure, if I’m being honest. Obviously I’ve never done anything relating to a scene yet, and this is the first time in my life I’ve been without the shot, so..it’s all very..new. And a bit overwhelming. Like, I’m not sure where to even start? And I know, but still. He was bad and...it could’ve been a lot worse had it not been for you and Daya and everyone who convinced his stubborn behind to get checked out.

You know, after a few years of eating MRE’s, even burnt ramen tastes good. But that’s the last time I’m letting Bayview residents cook for me. How’s everybody else doing?

Charlie’s told me about his times eating MREs and I dunno how you guys survived on those. Was what was cooked for you really worse than burnt ramen though? Because that sounds like it’s own special form of torture.

Has there been anything productive happening as of late or is it still all gloom and doom? I’ve been weighing the pros and cons of actually going to Ashbridge and setting up class for those who’d like to come, while classes are free and there’s no tuition. Plus it’ll give me a head start on figuring out what works what doesn’t when teaching Practical D/s. Switches are, of course, allowed to attend if they so choose. I’ll be providing lunch during, as well. 

I...think both? I found it was best to fall off the radar for a bit, but now coming back to everything, it seems like both. Thankfully though, the first option seems to be the more popular one- what with people offering to help with food and volunteer work and all that. If um....if you actually go through with that idea, the classes and all..I might be up for going..if that’s okay? Also I just wanted to say thank you again, for what you did for Charlie. It’s very appreciated, Miss.

Charlie felt his cheeks reddening at her question. He supposed he might have been a little presumptive. “I, uh - well, I mean. Yeah,” he stuttered out. “I don’t want just a good time… I want a life. I ain’t the foolin’ around type… I want somethin’ real, y’know?” 

He wished he could turn his whole body over toward her, but Charlie was hooked up to enough tubes and wires that he knew it wasn’t possible. And though he was currently pain-free, he knew twisting and turning was likely to change that. Instead, he turned his head, brushing his lips gently against her temple. “I know we can’t claim… but we could get married. Get old together. Have kids, if it’s something you’d want…”

Ally felt those words bubbling up more and more but she stamped them down and instead just let out a breath, turning her head to press a soft kiss to wherever she reached as she nodded, “Something real.” She agreed, murmured softly against him, a little smile on her lips.

Her smile just grew as he kissed her head and she nuzzled a bit more into him, warmth spreading through her at the thoughts filling her head. A life together, kids. A family all their own. It sounded perfect. “One day, yeah. Yes. I--absolutely.” She looked down at her left hand still over his heart, imagining a ring there one day and still her smile grew. “I want all that with you. And...even if it wasn’t legal..even if it’s just for us.....we could figure out how to claim too. Maybe? If...it’s something you maybe wanted. Just for you and me. One day.” She liked the thought of it--collars and cuffs to go along with rings. Just for them. “But first you need to heal up. We need to get you healthy again and back home, okay Cowboy?”

Fauna looked at the woman across from her and desperately tried to place her. “Oh hello Miss, we met very briefly when you came in for Charlie. Doctor Frightman, I explained the surgery to you.” She explained, usually she would have offered the other woman her hand but since they were full she simply kind of dipped her head in greeting. “Honestly I just need to put a log book in every ward that can be collected at the end of the day.” She explained.

Ally’s eyes widened just slightly at the title, a little taken aback. But maybe it was just politeness and not an actual title and her lack of sleep was just getting to her. So ultimately she brushed it off and gave the woman a little smile as she nodded, “Right! Right, I--sorry. It’s..been a long few days. Thank you, by the way. For that. For all of you here. Doctor Taylor took good care of him.” Freeing up one hand by putting the crutch against the wall she nodded to the books in her hand, “I can take some? Charlie’s sleeping so I’m just...wandering around.” granted her backpack was full of supplies she’d taken from a few closets but..she didn’t need to know that.
