“Any chance of just black coffee then?”

“I cannot offer you coffee, but I can offer other forms of caffeinated drinks that fit in a bar environment. One moment please.”

She disappears behind the counter for a moment, before sliding the Majin a dark brown drink in a martini glass.

“One espresso martini. One and a half ounce of Kahula, one ounce of absolut vodka, and one ounce of espresso. Enjoy.”

“I have not served a Majin in quite some time, but I recall that alcohol does not do much for them. I would recommend going to a coffee shop for such drinks, in that case.”

      IT was very rare that Ginyu actually had missions for him exclusively, the boys would be lost without him for awhile, but he was confident that they would be just fine without him. It was also rare that he was ever a few days ahead of schedule, and while he didn’t particularly like wasting time, he supposed stopping by at one of the best bars in the immediate galaxy wouldn’t hurt.

“Just one moment, sir.”

It was true that, perhaps, the captain had entered this building a bit too soon after it had opened up and thus not everything was in its proper place yet - the marionettes almost sliding into place before springing to life.

As if to try and make up for this mistake, Alka herself appeared  behind the bar, hands folded in front of her as she gave a bow of her head.

“Please take a seat and someone will be with you shortly, unless you want want to sit at the bar instead, in which case I’ll be the one to serve you.”

“Sake if ya got it!” beamed the massive man, hands on his hips. “-thanks fer asking! Though… if you could keep that Yemma stuff down… I keep it on the down low while on Earth,”

“Of course, although we specialize in mixed drinks.” She grabs a bottle, quickly giving the larger man a large sakazuki of clearly high-quality sake.

“Well, I can’t make any promises of such information never leaving this bar, but I can at least guarantee that the chances of it making its way to Earth are...slim...”

“Glad I could influence ya a bit. I promise ya, it won’t disappoint. If there’s one thing I like watchin’ in a bar, it’s two people shovin’ each other on the ground and pullin’ on hair.”

“Though please let me remind you that my bar is a bit more high-class than the ones I’m assuming you frequent, so this is a bit more of a risk on my part than the usual investment. That aside, should anyone decide to wrestle with you, and you win, you can be assured a portion of the money bet on you.”

“Perhaps in a lower class bar simply watching it would be enough.”

“Though my initial concern was with that face you were making, so long as those implications are kept clear then perhaps I’ll put on a special event.”

“It’s sweaty, unrefined, and quite frankly several other levels of disgusting. However, so long as you either keep it outside of my bar and, or, allow for my customers to bet on such matters... perhaps my personal tastes can be negotiated.”

     HE stares blankly down at the counter he’s resting against, eyes blinking dully as his mind wanders towards nothing in particular, one of his fingers tapping against the surface.

It’s an extraordinarily rare sound, but she manages a sincere giggle at his curt reply. It was almost as if her words went over head, and she smiled as she responded.

“Well, that’s one way to deal with those issues; just make certain that those writings remain private. Wouldn’t want prying eyes to see what they shouldn’t, right?”

The leering continued. The shine and pattern to the ‘mass’ had his attention, especially with a small tap of his claw had it jiggling. “I’m getting flashbacks of coagulated after math.. Which in my case, isn’t bad.” what else did he consume after molting? No sense in wasting nutrients.

Thankfully with the bar standing at a decent height, Cell turned and leaned back slowly, the tip of his stinger sinking into the mass. ‘Yup, that feels familiar..’. Absorbing the mass was a forced slow process, tasting and waiting for anything negative to kick in. Which of course didn’t happen. “Huh.. Maybe this casual consumption thing isn’t so bad.”

“Indeed, many drinks offered are are meant for people to wind down and be able to relax even if they’re betting their entire life savings on some game of cards. It helps keep the peace along with the atmosphere.”

It was an explanation stated as if it was common knowledge. Which she almost expected it to be with the style of the place being far above that of the usual road-side bar.

“Though if you wish to indulge those desires here, in the future you will have to be able to pay for your drinks.”
