Today has been bright and clear, cold and sunny. I walked through London Fields and along Broadway Market with the sun on my face. I allowed myself to be sidetracked. I bought a book from the bookshop and had a long conversation with the bookseller – even though we’d just met it felt like I had known her a long time. A few doors down there’s a coffee shop so I bought coffee beans and sat down outside with a coffee for a while. Tonight I am going to a friends’ flat for dinner. Sundays are so nice

After a few weeks of rearranging courses and playing catch up, I’m feeling like I’m settling into the semester. I’m trying really hard to keep myself accountable and motivated and on top of things (but I watched the whole first season of atypical yesterday sooo...)

:･ﾟ11th december |  today I went to a coffee shop to study for the first time in a few months!.. they were playing christmas music the whole time and that cheered me up. (∪ ◡ ∪)

trying to move forward and away from this pessimistic feeling that has been clouding my mind for the past few weeks, making it hard for me to focus. there’s so much to feel happy about in my life, I won’t let myself dwell on anything but love and gratefulness for all that I do have and that is important ♡♡

 I’m doing my honours!!!

Including this semester I have 3 more semesters of courses, then my practicum will start in September of 2020. I am excited and terrified!!

This semester is starting out hectic - I met with my English advisor and she’s very keen on me doing an honours degree. I think I’d like to do one as well but I have so much to think about and I don’t want to make the wrong decision! I had a map for how the next few years would play out and now there’s a completely different one on the table - how do I decide?!?!
