Went to one of my favorite local and childhood book stores with my dad and now we are getting Creole cuisine for lunch. Bottom two are mine and top one is his. I have high hope all these books are bangers.

Taking a break from the Vampire Chronicles and reading this masterpiece of environmental work. I wish Carson was still with us so she could beat the everloving shit out of this administration.

Every day I see a new headline about the environmental recklessness this administration is woefully conducting and my heart wrenches. The amount of work that will be needed after this spraytanned lunatic is out of office is a double sided blade. It gives me hope and courage to complete my environmental degree as fast as possible and the knowledge that many, many new jobs will open in the field. But it also means that during this waiting period, the natural environment that were once protected from the very problems he creating are being stripped for everything in the name of profit.

We need a new environmental movement like what happened in the 70's. The only way things change is by making that change happen. Americans and those around the world where fuming about what was happening then and took action, why can't we do the same now?

Doggies name is Lucy!

I've made this blanket for my best friend as a coming home gift. I made mine based off of a facebook link and love how it turned out. It has 4 separate colors, (let me know in the notes if you want to know them), but I only used a basic knit to get it done as fast as possible. Finished size is 50" × 63" when it was supposed to be 50" × 70", so I guess I was just a little tighter knitting than the original poster.

My friend I made this for recently got into a motorcycle accident and broke both his wrists, so I wanted to make something soft and cuddly for him. His friends and family are currently trying to raise funds for his hospital bill and physical therapy so if anyone can donate or even just spread the link it would be greatly appreciated.

Finished one project and already onto another. This blanket is 5' × 5' and took absolutely forever to finish, but I love how it turned out. It was made for my sister in law as a play mat for her new baby. I alternated between two rows of regular knits and two rows of herringbone knits for my pattern.

And now she is going to discredit ALL of his experiences and tell him he's never done anything for a good cause?

She was just telling him like two pages ago how she admired his battle with the wolves. What about the Theater of the Vampires? What would have happened to them if he didn't do that; was that not a good cause in its own twisted way? He might have started his band for selfish reasons but think of all the joy he brought to his fans and those that enjoyed his music.

And she's just going to cut him down and discredit him?

No, he has not been perfect in his actions but he has actually TRIED. He's stated again and again how he knows some of the things he does are atrocities but he still believes in the good of the world under all that, and he believes that if he tries hard enough he can reach it. His righteous cause is that underlying goodness of the world.
