Ah, yes, I see my question should’ve been who did you do rather than what. My mistake. I had a really good night, actually-- I even met a guy.

Other than those two times going to the beach I’ve only been to a pet shop around here. It’s been super depressing. 

Pet shop? Shopping for anything particular? At least classes have finally started and you have another excuse to get out! What are you studying here at the lovely Aloha State?

I swear I’ve been Hawaii-ing wrong. I’ve been to the beach like, twice since I got here, and outside of school I’ve barely left my apartment.

It’s a sad existence, truly. Someone help - give me a reason to get a little sandy. 

You definitely need to remedy that! Though, I’ll admit, the apartments are very cozy. Have you been anywhere else on the island since you’ve been in town?

It was a bit eventful once I left the mixer, that’s for certain. Did you meet anyone interesting? Or just a bunch of losers?

Oh? What did you end up doing? I did meet some interesting people. A few, actually.

Have you ever had a dream about your future? What happened in it?

 I often have a dream where I’m all dressed up and at the Tony awards and in my seat, then when my name is called and I go up onto the stage and suddenly I’m stark naked. It’s horrifying.

The one thing thing that can ruin my dreams for life? 

I suppose losing my voice in such a way that I can never sing again would ruin everything for me.

Yeah, I saw you for a bit. I was with someone so I couldn’t say hi; I ended up going to a club instead. The mixer was kind of a bust.

Mm, well it sounds like you must’ve had an eventful night then. I thought the mixer was great-- I met some new people.

I think night surfing as become one of my favorite things to do this summer. Thinking about getting a go pro just so I can film while being in the water. How awesome would that be? 

I’ve never been night surfing but I do agree that being on the beach at nighttime is one of the best times to be there. It’s so peaceful without so many people-- and the moon shining on the water is lovely.

Well, I think that with a little bit of help it actually worked. He seems to have noticed me though he didn’t say anything until after the fact. I’m starting to wonder if I should just not even attempt with him. Maybe I’m moving too quickly.

Wow, I had no idea really. Thank you for that tip though, Rachel. I will, thanks, that’s awesome! Oh wow, Broadway? That’s a pretty lofty goal, but it’s cool that you’re so focused and into it. I’m here for film making, I’ve been bitten by the directing bug and there’s no cure.

Of course! Broadway is a pretty big goal, yeah, but I’m fully confident in my abilities and I’ll make it there in no time! Film making? That’s really awesome! So, I’m the next Bernadette Peters, and you’re the next Spielberg! We’ll be added to the long list of names this school has to be proud of!

I think so, absolutely. I have no intention of going back home. Good; embrace it and enjoy it, Rachel. Even so, I’m sorry to hear that. But, wow, seven years? Take your time with that then; no need to push yourself if you aren’t ready.

Hopefully! I have no intention on ever going back to Pennsylvania, either. There’s nothing for me there at all. I am taking my time, it just feels like a bit of a weight on my shoulders. I’m honestly afraid of running into him before he knows I’m here. I’ll tell him soon, I’m sure. I just...I’m afraid he’s not going to want to see me.

I’ve had a lot of fun roleplaying with @alohastaterachel! Her mun, Sam, portrays Rachel so well I can actually hear Rachel’s voice when I’m interacting with her!

Well, there’s this guy that I kind of know from when I grew up here. He and I were best friends. I don’t know, I guess we’re both different now, but when I saw him again all of these feelings and emotions that I had years ago came rushing back to me. He’s kind of being a jerk right now so I want him to catch a glimpse of me and maybe feel bad about it.
