They do…
I might appear confident and chatty, but I spend most of my time laughing at jokes I don’t find funny, saying things I don’t really mean - because at the end of the day that’s what we’re all trying to do: fit in, one way or another, desperately trying to pretend we’re all the same.
Tabitha Suzuma (via onlinecounsellingcollege)
Me: How can you be so self destructive?! Why would you ever go back to someone that lies and cheats and makes you feel worthless. They never change! They tell us they will be truthful and care for us but how can you not realize it's a lie! The shit we went through to be free of that kind of life and you throw it all away. I know I'm not perfect but I love you and I thought you loved me. We could be real with each other and we didn't have to hide or lie. I'm here for you and I can't make you choose me but I hate to think of my life without you. I love you...
Them: (nothing)
I am insecure and sensitive and I ruin everything I love
Please be careful with me. Sometimes I just get sad and I don’t know why. I’m sorry:
(via daringtome)
let's talk about the physical affects of chronic anxiety because they're hardly ever acknowledged
upset stomach and vomiting
ulcers
muscle aches
chronic fatigue
hormonal problems
irregular menstrual cycles
insomnia
infections
lowered immune system
migraines
shortness of breath
dizziness
heart palpitations
teeth-grinding
rashes
it is a lot more than just “feeling anxious “
can’t reblog enough.
Every day, every week every freaking month
Also: • panic attacks • tremors • excessive sweating • seizures
Also….increased risk for diabetes. Panic attacks (or chronic stress) cause your body to go into fight or flight mode, which dumps cortisol (which forces your body to produce sugar) into your system in an attempt to…well fight or run. Helpful in the short term if you actually need to run or fight, as that’s how you get energy, but not super helpful on a long-term basis. Also, this can cause GI issues as well. (X)
you said you loved me and then you left me
