Hi! I just wanted to say I LOVE your 9-1-1 fics! I was wondering if you had any plans to get back to them? I devoured bags and have reread it sooo many times!

this is so kind! i do want to finish off “bags” eventually. i really don’t want to leave it as an incomplete work. when i will get back to it, though, i have no idea. i’ve kind of fallen head first into hockey rpf and have been finding a lot of joy in that community and exploring those characters.

to be completely honest, i found the 9-1-1 fandom as a whole to be incredibly toxic and mean-spirited. i got a lot of love on “bags,” i wont pretend i didn’t, but i find the space that i’m in now to be a lot more welcoming. the praise i received with “bags” is fractional in comparison to the stuff i’ve been posting recently. it’s hard to find motivation to return to it when i know it won’t be as rewarding. that’s not to mention how abysmal i found season 9 to be and how de-motivating it was to see these characters i love be given plot lines i wasn’t a huge fan of.

it’s people like you that i don’t want to leave in limbo. so, hopefully, i will go back and give it the love and ending it deserves. i’m sorry if this answer isn’t satisfying, but i just really don’t know when that will be.
