What's a title idk {@alphacide}
"—…"
The Alpha’s joking demeanor causes his panic to fade slightly and be replaced with confusion, unsure as to why he’d reacted such a way—was this really a time for jokes? Because Kurt certainly didn’t see how it could be.
"Well—"
The young wolf pauses before fingers begin to nervous rub at the back of his neck, maroon hues quickly switching away from the other boy—how was he supposed to explain his? It was an accident, so it wasn’t like he could really be held accountable…right?
"…Okay, well last night I got a little intoxicated and on the way to Abel’s home I saw a deer and was quite famished and sort of just, lost myself and attacked it—but—it got away with a bite so now there’s a weredeer running around and it’s all my fault.”
His tone begins to falter toward the end of his rambling, brows knitting together as he looks at the other, pleading for help.
As his features lighten up slightly, the teen swells with a sense of accomplishment for being able to ease some of his worry, though the feeling is gone just as quick as it had arrived as the other fidgets in place, anxiety evident in his body language. Pursing his lips, the raven folds his arms across his chest as the other attempts to explain himself, a second yawn drawing from him as he ponders how cruel it would be to return to his blankets before a single, entirely foreign word catches his attention, causing his brows to furrow in mild confusion until realization dawns on him.
"..Were.. what? Did you just say weredeer?"
He had always known that Kurt was a little.. off in some ways he couldn't exactly name, but this was almost comically imaginative of him. So comical, in fact, that the alpha just couldn't resist playing along with the idea for a while, blatantly ignoring the uncomfortable churn in the pit of his stomach at the thought of the other harming a deer. His blankets could wait. This was too good to pass up.
".. Heh. Weredeers, huh... those are rare. I've only heard this story one other time.. legend has it, the deer grows twice as big in the moonlight, but retains most of its cuteness and lures little kids out to feast on their flesh."
