A huge missed opportunity is the potential friendship between Kidou Yuuto and Kiyama Hiroto. Both are introduced as formidable opponents who bury Raimon under a barrage of goals. Furthermore, both were exploited by a mentor figure: Kageyama Reiji and Kira Seijirou, respectively. Teikoku Gakuen was the strongest youth team in Japan (just as Gaia was one of the strongest teams in Aliea Gakuen), and Kageyama would destroy the school of any team they defeated.

Kidou helped Kageyama create a reign of terror, just as Kiyama helped Seijirou, and both were their 'greatest creation'. The problem with having such a large cast and so few episodes is that many interactions get cut, but Kidou and Kiyama deserved something.

I might remember the third season wrong but I find it kinda crazy that nobody, even the commentators, mention the whole alien thing during matches when it comes to inazuma japan as a team

most of the selection beat hyper powered teens that could run sonic speed and literally used soccer balls the weight of heavy ass rocks to play,

But they’re only seen as a team that got better over the last few years or something and rose to popularity, and that’s it

Like is no one going to maybe mention the fact that four members of the team were pretty much under magic stone steroids or no?

IE is soooo funny about this, it's like nothing never ever happened.

Kidou and the rest of Teikokku never apologized for beating the shit out of Raimon on episode 1.

Gouenji never explained why he left to his teamates during season 2, even after his sister is safe. Aqua of Gods is never mentionned after season 1 even if Aphrodi comes back to help Raimon DESPITE THE OBVIOUS PARALLEL THAT COULD HAVE BEEN MADE BETWEEN HIS SITUATION AND THE ALIEA KIDS. Fubuki never mention his brother OR his obvious mental breakdown after the final Aliea match. Nobody mentions Aliea to Hiroto, and barely to Midorikawa. Kazemaru and the fallen Raimon teamates became villians for one episode because of the Aliea Stone and IN ADDITION TO THE MATCH BEING ASS, no one mentions it ever again.

But Fudou is an evil mean punk guy and everyone is mad at him for manipulating Genda and Sakuma into injuring themselves for all the first half of the third season.

Fudou is canonically poor so i blame classism.

Back from the grave to share with you an AU I'm working on: Teyvat Eleven, where Genshin Impact characters take on the roles of Inazuma Eleven characters No deities or Teyvat; the story is set in Germany, and the characters are mostly middle schoolers

I also added NPCs to fill the place of the minor characters
