Initiative
Itâs not disobedience: itâs not like heâs given us a direct order to keep away from the Order members.
Our way makes sense: when you hunt, you cull the weakest from the herd. Then, if they still run, you chase after them, breaking down their stamina, until they canât take it any longer and their legs collapse underneath them. You can drag out the hunt, and still get everything you need out of it. If you handle it the right way, which we are.Â
He may not have given us a direct order, but by not even having the courtesy to inform him of your plans, you are going behind his back. Remember, we are not his equals, or his comrades; we are his servants. We live to serve his will.Â
Perhaps if you proposed the idea to him, he would have rewarded you greatly. But you kept it for your own amusement; who are you to say how you handle the Dark Lordâs prisoners? You cannot be sure of what he wants with them; by being brazen enough to make that decision, you bring trouble on your own head should you incur his wrath.
And you are going to drag us all down with you. Stupid, uncouth mutt.
What would you know of it, whelp? You're still too green to really understand what the Dark Lord wants. If I were you, I'd let the proven ones continue planning. The Dark Lord will reward us for our ingenuity, while all of you spineless wimps will sit by, sucking  your thumbs.
Since you're so scared, you can go hide behind Alecto's skirts, since you both share the same sentiment.

I genuinely hope you enjoy being the prey as much as you did the hunter.

Old Man,
 Who said it was recent?Â
Youâre right, it wonât be a fun hunt; youâre getting too old, too comfortable. Letâs make an appointment under the full moon, and weâll see if you can make it to morning, though I doubt it; you seem to be moving much slower, nowadays.
-Fenrir
Rabid dog,
Were it not recent, you wouldnât be much of a man. But then again, you arenât anyway, are you?
With age comes experience, whelp. Itâs pathetic that you require a time of the month to be of any use in a hunt. Since youâre the one with the tighter time table, you can name a date and location.
- AM
Dead Man,
I'm more of a man than you'll ever be, limp dick.Â
I don't require anything, whelp. Since you seem so keen as to wear my fur, I thought you should at least realize what you're getting yourself into when you challenge me. But if you're so confident that you'll like my pelt, I'll give you a reprieve.Â
Friday, nightfall. The old Shrieking Shack.

Fenwick,
Iâm coming. Iâll give you a head start, for whatever good itâll do ya.

'The New, Improved Character Survey of Doom' from LJ || Fenrir Headcanon
Body and Appearance
1. Describe the characterâs height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy? Fenrir is a tall man, built very muscularly. He's thickly built; not fat, but there's just something about his body that suggests a masculinity. 2. How old is he? 36 3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch? Fenrir has an aggressive posture: it's strange to describe someone as looming over you, but that's what Fenrir does: he will get into your person space until you're uncomfortable, just to prove his dominance. He walks upright, rigidly, and he often scans the room when he enters. 4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? Unsurprisingly, Fenrir is quite fit. He doesn't have any physical disabilities, and he doesn't consider his lycanthropy an "illness". 5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? I'd say it was a savage grace. He moves like he's about ready to pounce if you make the wrong move. 6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror? Part of  his danger comes from his good looks; he's deceivingly good looking. However, lately, Prime's starting to run Fenrir ragged, so there's a sharp, wary look in his eyes. Looking in the mirror, Fenrir sees someone who has promise; a strong, true leader. 7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? He's got a clear complexion, but there's a scar on his hairline from a close encounter with a stag. 8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style. Dark brown, thick when he doesn't cut it. Right now, his hair is cut short, almost a buzz cut. 9. What color are his eyes? Green. 10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? His right arm has old scars, from the night when he was transformed. 11. What are his chief tension centers? I have no idea... 12. What is the characterâs wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit? Simple. Fenrir likes practical clothes; he's worn the same black robes for about a year now (he washes them... sometimes..). 13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them? Unfortunately, Fenrir can never find robes that fit him through his chest/shoulders. All of his robes always fit tightly, almost uncomfortably so. 14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences? No. His freetime entails blood and guts and howling, so he's usually half naked, or wearing his fur. His 15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando? Commando. Less laundry, and Fenrir's not afraid to let it all hang out. Speech 1. What does this characterâs voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? Deep, almost always in a growl. Blame it on Prime, his wolf persona, if you will. He's always harsh. 2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate? Fen speaks without thinking, so usually his words come out in a rush. Not too fast that you don't understand, but whatever hits his mind runs out through his mouth. He never hesitates. 3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? It's not really an accent, but he always has a gruff tone and his voice is always "in a growl". 4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency? He only speaks English, and he barely has a handle over that. 5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations? At times, Fenrir can understand another creature's body language. Does that count? 6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words? Impromptu speaking is Fen's life. 7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? He's simply spoken. He manages to get what he means across, but by no means is he eloquent. I doubt that this will ever change; Fen's a stubborn bastard. Mental and Emotional 1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart? Street-smart. Fenrir's not very good with people, but he does use his instincts to his advantage. Intelligence wise, Fenrir is about average in book-smarts; he never enjoyed school, which is why he quit. However, he's got a hunting instinct and killing streak that has earned him a vicious reputation. 2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate? On his feet. Fen rarely plans anything out-- unless it's turning a person. Then, he'll put a little more forethought into it. 3. Describe the characterâs thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? Intuition is key. If Fenrir wants something, he'll go after it; if he feels angry, he'll react. He's very much a creature of instinct/emotion. I think that he's actually idealistic when it comes to his little pack; he truly believes that he can lead them, and make them stronger than the wizards that he hates. 4. What kind of education has the character had? He attended Hogwarts, but dropped out before graduation. 5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about? Can killing be an expertise? Really though, Fenrir's quite the tracker and hunter; he had an interest in tracking before he was turned, but after his first transformation, he became obsessed with the process. Fenrir's fascinated with learning about werewolf mythology-- he's very egotistical. 6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert? Introvert. 7. Describe the characterâs temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? Fenrir's moods change as often as the Moon. Depending on the moon phase, he'll go from laid back to outright vicious. He's never cheerful. 8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? He appraises people; if he doesn't think that they have the potential to be possible pack members, he'll watch to see if they're a threat. If they are a threat, he'll treat them like another alpha wolf and let them do their thing. However, if they're not strong enough, then Fen categorizes them as prey. Definitely suspicious. 9. Is he more likely to act, or to react? Act. 10. Which is his default: fight or flight? Fight. 11. Describe the characterâs sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? Dark humor/twisted sense of humor. He's not into knock-knock jokes or anything frivolous. 12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them? He's got another personality, dubbed "Prime" (which comes from a combination of 'primal'/'first'). Fenrir embraces Prime, and they feed off each other. 13. What moments in this characterâs life have defined him as a person? When he was bitten; when he made his first kill (his Father); and when he decided to create a pack. 14. What does he fear? An ordinary life, or taking his lycanthropy away. He's become so use to it, that he can't imagine his life as an regular wizard. 15. What are his hopes or aspirations? world domination. He wants to create a pack of werewolves powerful enough to show wizards the true meaning of fear. 16. What is something he doesnât want anyone to find out about him? That he loves to read Steppenwolf. Relationships 1. Describe this characterâs relationship with his parents. Fen hated his father, and killed him one night. He respects his mother; he sees her as a strong, vicious woman. 2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? Fen has a younger brother. He hates him because he took away his inheritance, and he's on Fen's hit list. 3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he canât stand? Nope. 4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them? The Mysterious Woman who bit him and made him a werewolf. Fenrir constantly looks for her, and he only knows her as "His Lady". 5. Who is/was the characterâs best friend? How did they meet? Prime is the closest thing he has to a best friend. Fenrir thinks that having friendships means showing weaknesses. 6. Does he have other close friends? No. 7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people? Fenrir doesn't make friends: he makes werewolves, or corpses, depending on his opinion of you. 8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends? He considers his pack his family, and he'd do anything to keep them. 9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once? Single. 10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? No. 11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest? First crush was definitely "His Lady". Lately, he just lusts after women. 12. What does he look for in a romantic partner? Submission. Weakness. a vagina. 13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any? He tries to have children constantly. Really. He wants pureblooded werewolf pups, so he's tried to impregnate newly turned werewolf girls, but unfortunately, he seems to be shooting blanks. 14. Does he have any rivals or enemies? Basically, everyone. xD But mainly the Order. 15. What is the characterâs sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale? 1 16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him? Fenrir loves sex, but he doesn't focus on his partner's pleasure at all. To him, sex is about what he wants. If he's not satisfied, you'll know, and you'll correct the problem. 17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits? Submission turns him on immediately. Younger girls (but he won't go past age 16). Blood. Turn-offs: strong-willed women, mouthy women. Any women with thoughts, really. Weird bedroom habits: he loves biting women hard enough to draw blood. Also, he loves having sex with a girl while she's on her period (the blood turns him on.) Beliefs 1. Do you know your characterâs astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type? He's an Aries, and he definitely fits. 2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life? Fen considers the moon his Goddess. 3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? Fenrir Greyback is probably the least moral person you'll ever meet. 4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? If we're talking religion, Fenrir doesn't care what you believe in. However, if you were to say that you think werewolves were mangy dogs that didn't deserve to live, well then he'd probably skin you alive. 5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them? He hates wizards that look down their noses at werewolves. Part of that stems from the fact that Fenrir's father hated him when he became a werewolf. Fenrir wants to show anyone that ever pitied him for being a werewolf that he is part of the dominate species. Daily Life 1. What is the characterâs financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt? A son of a pureblood family, Fenrir has access to money. He doesn't work-- who would hire him, he's a werewolf and a crazy, after all-- so he lives off his family's money. 2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him? Although born to pureblood, his social status steadily fell. In the Death Eater circle, people view him as a mutt and outsider, since he's not a Marked Death Eater, and because he's a werewolf. 3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others? He's got a shack in the woods, close to a cave. He has his "pups" (the people he turned) live in the cave, and he gets the "Alpha Den". 4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on? Fake documents. Werewolf artwork. 5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else? He tortures, hunts and kills people for a living, and he loves it. 6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time? Killing, turning, or tracking people. He's also interested in real wolves and their lifestyles. 7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? Fenrir eats regularly; with his werewolf metabolism, he needs to eat to keep up his strength. Associations Which of the following do you associate with the character, or which is his favorite: 1. Color? Red 2. Smell? Campfire smoke, gamy musk. 3. Time of day? Dusk 4. Season? Fall 5. Book? Steppenwolf 6. Music? Rock 7. Place? Some type of outdoor activity. 8. Substance? Leather. 9. Plant? Wolfsbane 10. Animal? Wolf.Â

Itâs not going behind his back: weâre taking those Order scum and wrapping them in a pretty package. Or giving them to the Dark Lord wrapped in each otherâs skin.Â
Heâll be pleased. He has to be. Weâve got the Order!
Perhaps if you stop and think about it, you might find that while he wouldnât mind the Order being down a few members, but what he does mind is disobedience. Taking action before telling him would be tantamount to outright disregarding his authority over us.
Besides, your lot may think that handing them âwrapped in each otherâs skinâ may please him, but remember that they are not just supporters; they are soldiers too. If you kill them or torture them senseless, they canât give us information. Which makes them useless.
It's not disobedience: it's not like he's given us a direct order to keep away from the Order members.

You know you remind of someone..well something. A hound my father once had wonderful killing instinct in that mutt but it always made a mess of the huntâŠof course he had to put it down. Thereâs something to be said for a bit of intelligence even in animals. Too bad no one has properly trained you I still think if heâd given me the pup I could have made something of it.
You could have tried, whelp, but I think you talk too much to really be of any use. After all, you're still untried-- you haven't done anything of consequence, besides yap and yap.
Walden & Fenrir // Do or Die // Down the Rabbit Hole
It was getting too difficult to remain in the bunk and keep to himself, the battles waged between their captives were enough to have Waldenâs veins boiling and mouthwatering in blood lust. Yet he wasnât supposed to touch them. The singular flaw in this brilliant little side project, the entertainment was there but out of reach. Unsatisfied insanity was giving him a bit of headache and making it harder to concentrate within the Rabbit Hole. Cursing his fellow Death Eaters from disallowing direct involvement in the torment of the Order Members Walden stormed out the entrance.
The cool air was a relief from the stuffiness in the underground prison but didnât relieve any of the tension. Taking a deep breath Walden sat on the grass and fisted his hands in the green blades to uproot them. As tantalizing as the brawls had been so far it was rather frustrating that no one had died yet. He could enjoy a bit of torture now and then, but only when the final goal was a lifeless corpse.
Heâd been reprimanded by the Dark Lord each time one of his interrogations got carried away and a potential informant ended up dead. Except in the case of the Fenwick boy who had unfortunately escaped with the help of the youngster with the golden eyes, prompting a punishment all the same. This little gladiator arena wasnât killing anybody, which was what Walden had hoped to achieve when he decided to take part in it. To finally have an order member to offer as tribute to Death.
Stretching out on his back to take in the surrounding countryside Walden shifted restlessly, the frantic beating of his heart all the more noticeable when he lay still. It was his first time leaving the United Kingdom and while he wasnât that interested in travel it was intriguing to see the different landscape. Hearing the sound of heavy footsteps on the stairs Walden shifted his gaze to the newcomer.
Spotting Greyback he grinned, all too familiar with the form approaching him. Walden had been fascinated with the werewolf since before theyâd even met. Fenrirâs face had been plastered all over the Beast Division of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures before Walden had started working there. There was a creature inside the other man that he felt mirrored the wildness at the heart of his own madness. Wild and uncontrolled. Theyâd never really spent much time together outside of meetings, something which Walden wanted to change. He did have so many questions.
A slight breeze picked up between them and he wondered fleetingly how he smelt to the werewolf, if he smelt of corpses and chrysanthemums or some other scent that was uniquely him. He rather fancied the former, he did so like to bury himself in those scents whenever he could.
âHello my wolfish comrade. Things a bit too tense down below for you?â
There's a method to the madness, and oh what a method we've created.Â
Eyeing the combat arena, Fenrir's mouth watered and his eyes narrowed in anticipation. He didn't care what any other Death Eater said: The Rabbit Hole was perfection. Death Eaters can't touch them, but those scum Order Members suffer because of us anyway.Â
Although the werewolf didn't mind having blood on his hands--Moon knows he had a few gallons at this point-- Fenrir's inner conflict sprung from Prime's needs-- to hunt and maul and kill-- combating the man's rationality. Death Eaters couldn't harm the Order members, partially for the Death Eater's own protection, and partially to watch the Order members inflict harm on one another. From a man's standpoint, he saw the Rabbit Hole's beauty: not only stripping flesh from bone, the combatants ripped away their own friendships as well. The Order Members wouldn't just be broken: they would shatter.Â
However, Fenrir's baser instincts screamed in frustration that he couldn't join in the bloodletting.
I thought this would be a real hunt, not us sitting back and letting others have all the fun, Prime grumbled. Fenrir growled in response, tearing his gaze away from the arena. Prime had voiced his negative opinions about the situation quite often, although Fenrir realized that it was the wolf's frustration more than anything. We need blood on our muzzle. Soon.
The scent of blood hit Fenrir, strong as a slap, and his nostrils flared to take in the smell. Dear Moon. Prime's lips pulled back, revealing pink gums and yellowed fangs, and his hunger surged through Fenrir's body. The wizard's hands curled into claws, and he dug his nails into his palms. If Prime gained control now, Fenrir would kill, and the plan would break.Â
Quickly, before Prime took advantage of Fenrir's momentary lack of control, the werewolf fled the fight, exiting the Hole, thankful for the fresh air that drove the lingering blood from his senses. At the new scent, Prime settled, his bloodlust forgotten as the wind carried new, promising aromas: the distinctive gamy musk of deer and clean water's sweetness. Perhaps we could settle here, with the pack, later down the line, Prime said. It's unclaimed territory.
Fenrir, so distracted in his attempt to push away Prime's conscience, didn't notice Walden until the wizard spoke. Fenrir frowned briefly, annoyed that he'd let himself slip up, before settling his expression into a cool disinterest. He didn't know much about Walden, other that the rumors: whispers that Walden was just as vicious as Fenrir himself. The other wizard intrigued Fenrir, although he'd never admit it. Finding another hunter was a rarity indeed.Â
"It's a fuckin' tease, having to watch and not play," Fenrir said. "Just sitting back, letting others have the fun... it's not my style, really." He crouched down, grabbing a piece of grass and shredding it, needing the mindless motion more than anything. There's other things we could do with your hands, Prime snapped. Like ripping, shredding, maiming--
"Why're you out here? Wantin' a piece of the action yourself?"
I want to see Fenrir and Walden go crazy together. Two wild, instinctual creatures feeding off each otherâs madness.
